Oh.. My.. God.. I am blown away by how good these look! This tutorial is great and so easy to understand! I definitely feel like I just stumbled upon a rare "UA-cam Gem" with this series. I cant believe someone gives this level of "tutorial" away for free on UA-cam. This is exactly what I was looking for! You are very very talented. You should have a million subscribers, I feel more people need to see this. LoL. I am making a trip to the fabric store first thing in the morning for the sherpa, the rest I have on-hand. You just saved my butt big-time, I kinda promised someone Moccasins that I had no idea how to make... Thank you for putting out this awesome content!
Gorgeous! I would just show the stitch you’re doing just once or twice in regular time for a reminder so I don’t have to go back to the other video. Thanks ❤
question... how would you sew a hard sole onto these? I love to wear moccasins but i would love to put a hard leather sole on them so that they last longer.
Just sew or glue the outsole to the bottom of the moc before putting the lining inside. I use crepe rubber for my soles when needed, but generally like to let people wear them a bit first to allow them to mold to their foot.
@@chamberscourses7638 I would like to add a crepe sole to the mocs I am making (following your tutorial). I can add the crepe soles after I have completed the mocs and don't have to add them before the lining, like suggested for a hard sole? Thanks for any advice.
I have a question about the length of each fur strip needed to make these mocs. The instructions for materials/supplies says 5 cm (about 2 inches) by 40 cm (about 15 inches). Is 40 cm long enough to go all the way around? Would be making a women's size 7 moc. I am about to order the fur, but am going to use sheared beaver pelt, so want to be certain I have enough. Thanks!
That will be beautiful! To be absolutely certain I just measured this on one of my students' mocs. It measures 36cm/14", so yes, the measurement you have should be ok.
Wow definitely going to try making my own!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos!!! This is so well explained!
Wonderful! How did it go?

Good point. I just put up the little diagram and not an actual animation/video. Thanks for the feedback.
