But if you don't have Cloud retainer, Xaio is a bust. If I was doing a DPS potential list, Xaio would be higher for sure, though.
i think ayaka should be swapped with wriothesley if you wanna do the list based on flexibility, ayaka has a lot of dmg and shes not restricted by her cons like wrio and she has a great f2p weapon
24:40 Hi, i'm a xiao main and very informed in terms of meta, datasheets etc. Currently Xiao best team (Xiao + Furina, Xianyun, Faruzan) is one of the best AoE team in the game, it's comparable to Neuvillette if we look at C0R1 200+ CV artifacts, at low artifact investment of course Xiao will lack because every stat counts a lot on Xiao personal damage, more than other comparable DPS, that's because he's a heavy hitter (big and slow hits) but a consistent one (15s of heavy hitting with plunge and charged attacks). idk what are your assumptions about every character to do this list. IF it comes to flexibility, than yeah Xiao isn't flexible enough to be higher than A. In terms of pure strength, with very high primogems investment in his team he can do 500k+ per plunge in single target, with average primogems investment (all C0, faruzan C6, primordial jade) than he can do, depending on team artifacts, 120k to 200k per plunge in single target, and 80k to 120k in AoE. His AoE is very large and he's very mobile, he's extremely good in this situation, but now with Xianyun he is good even against mobile bosses. (there are also 3 or 4 bosses with anemo res tho, Xiao isn't that good against them, but he's really good against others)

Xiao main here! I was definitely an OG user so I have a lot of experience with how he's handled without Cloud Retainer and his more "modern" supports. Before that huge overhaul on Xiao if we look strictly on flexibility and damage output he requires slightly more investment mostly in being getting a weapon but an old team with maybe Bennett or older supports puts him at exactly the same as Wanderer at C0. So I would say by himself with older supports or less investment he would be about the same as Wanderer doing better at AoE but worse in single target so overall he should be around a slot or two behind Wanderer only due to the fact he needs a tad bit more investment.
i'm an itto main and i dont necessarily agree with what you say about him having to have "another geo 5 star" because you can go straight up with the f2p options that work insanely well like geo traveller as a really good battery with favonius and also ningguang as a really good sub dps, almost everyone has bennett aswell and bennett works really well with the whole team in general and even if you just have itto you can still use all these 4 star characters that do really well with him, lots of energy gains never really have burst down time, and before i even got zhongli or other geo 5 stars i was still 36 starring abyss with him and i still am to this day, he's never really had a bad time in abyss unless the enemies have an elemental shield, which was for 1 abyss and that was the abyss lectur's (forgot the name) that appeared in enkanomiya. but i can also somewhat agree itto being in A. possibly very very low A+
Chiori is such is huge upgrade for my geo teams. I don’t think it’s new toy syndome. C1 is insane for Navia/Noelle duo, then put anything you want in the other two slots.
maybe the best tier list that i have seen, i only put down kokomi to A- because she is a circle impact limted character with no utility in her kit and the team in which she work well is more or the same with barbara
I think this list is really well made but I think the only changes I would make personally is moving sucrose up to s tier because she is just as good as kazuha but feels a lot worse to play, keqing and xiao up one tier and ayaka up one tier

Are we in 2.3 or something? Why is Itto higher than Xiao? He is as reliant on Gorou as Xiao is for Faruzan and he is significantly worse in terms of dps

She is literally that good. She completely negates any character’s ER issues while using it to further increase her own damage, constellations outweighs every Electro DPS and sub DPS, even when she isn’t on-field she does decent off-field damage, and once she is on field she can completely destroy both bosses and groups of enemies in one burst.
Nuevi doesn’t get the max benefit from furina at c0 bcz u lose his last stack which is the biggest dmg boost to his CA, dehya can give him resistance to interruption while also vaping his hits with hyperbrgeon team (nuevi,dehya,elecetro,nahida)

Xiao eclipses every Wanderer team with cloud retainer. Xiao is definitely one of the stronger dps characters in the game after cloud retainer release.

Raiden always has a high usage rate, has many amazing teams, and only gets better with time.
