At the time of 5:39 on the video, is that installation correct? it also happens at 5:46. The ladder run is above the landing, while using the extension.
was working on this problem myself. my design was different but similar. you have done it well. I will stop working on mine most likely. May I suggest you make your upper handles approximate a P shape making it easier for the worker to back into the ladder, giving them an earlier handhold as they step backwards at height., the most perilous time

@@negative949 Hi, no not as yet. just take it easy backing onto the ladder.( hence my suggestion to make the railings extend further)

If it fits 90% of ladders then what ladders does it not fit?
It depends on the ladder rail width. I looked it up on their website in the online instructions. Some ladders (like mine) were light duty and too narrow to be safely attached.
yeah, I consider Safety on every job, but then I think "Yeah-Nah"
