As for me, I am more beginner than even this video! I need to look for another of her videos that maybe start with “have you heard of cricut? Here is what it is and what it does…..” so in the dark folks like me would learn what these machines are for….at the start of the video, mentioning the different models was confusing as it was step up and step down from entry? I know she was packing tons of info super quickly, but for a newly interested person, this video made me feel like a dummy, not change it!

Some of my Cricut friends tried to show me via telephone, but I am a visual and hands on individual. So I was told to keep watching the videos I will eventually catch on. I watched other videos but stop watching them in the middle as I was getting more frustrated. Then I found Angie. I will watch all her videos now. I recently bought a Maker. My 14 y/o granddaughter and I are just learning and did a few projects. Thank you for this video. The discussion on the DesignSpace was quite fast so I tried to follow as best as I could. We both watch video's. Your discussion on products was so helpful. I know people have to talk fast to keep video's withing a certain time frame but all in all I enjoyed watching. I know it will take quite a bit of playing around with.

i just got one also and you are not alone! lol! but i realized that you learn by doing. yes, you will make mistakes but you learn from it. i finally mastered the process of iron vinyl. the problem i am having is text. when my words come out it makes it look like i am dyslexic! lol!

you're not alone ... I'm watching all of them that I can find; speeding through some of them to find what I'm looking for. I've spent HOURS combing through all the different machines and just getting frustrated. The company needs to "get it together" and listen to its customers, from everything I've seen/heard. I got one yesterday also and was a bit disappointed at I would have to pay a subscription to use designs but these utube s show so much. As would have been cheaper to just buy cards lol now to hope I can work out what to do. Good luck to you.

I'm so impressed! This video contains a lot of information, especially for someone like myself who is a Cricut beginner (and that's an understatement), but it's so comprehensive yet basic, so I can go back to the sections to review the areas where I need the most help. I was totally overwhelmed after deciding to make 40 visors as mementos for a family reunion this summer (crazy idea). I even went out and bought a Cricut Joy (I got a great deal). After teaching junior high for over 25 years, I thought to myself, "How hard could this be?" Ugh. The visors (blanks) arrived today from Amazon, so I will definitely be referring back to Angie's video regularly. Wish me luck!

I have a small sublimation side business but don't really love the idea of getting into silkscreen for dark items and vinyl is a great alternative. What a great video! Cricut should include link to it on a box. Unfortunately, it's not enough just to buy a machine. Need to invest twice as much in accessories, materials and subscription to make a good use of the machine.

Thank you for this great guide. If I may suggest one thing, it would have been easier to follow your cursor when showing Cricut Design Space if it was larger and maybe with the click registration circle like I've seen in other software guides.
I just bought the maker 3. Never having used a cricut before I’m in over my head. I’ll need to watch this again. Helps a lot. Also had to get new computer with windows 10. 7 would not work. Where does it tell you that? Half the products you show local places don’t have. Where can you get supplies?

The basic Cricut "language" has just been very intimidating, but you've certainly explained a lot. I've purchased the Cricut as a food-dedicated piece of equipment. I have an edible printer but I could do so much more if I wasn't cutting out images with scissors or a scalpel🙄 There's a lot more for me to learn about cutting edible images/icing sheets for cake, but you've laid out the basics of the machine. ✨💝✨

I got one yesterday also and was a bit disappointed at I would have to pay a subscription to use designs but these utube s show so much. As would have been cheaper to just buy cards lol now to hope I can work out what to do. Good luck to you.

I'm so impressed! This video contains a lot of information, especially for someone like myself who is a Cricut beginner (and that's an understatement), but it's so comprehensive yet basic, so I can go back to the sections to review the areas where I need the most help. I was totally overwhelmed after deciding to make 40 visors as mementos for a family reunion this summer (crazy idea). I even went out and bought a Cricut Joy (I got a great deal). After teaching junior high for over 25 years, I thought to myself, "How hard could this be?" Ugh. The visors (blanks) arrived today from Amazon, so I will definitely be referring back to Angie's video regularly. Wish me luck!

I have a small sublimation side business but don't really love the idea of getting into silkscreen for dark items and vinyl is a great alternative. This video has been extremely helpful. Thank you very much for making it. I would like to inform others though that the new maker, the Cricut Maker 3 does not come with a rotary blade. Just invested in my first Cricut and already enjoying it. I have been referencing back to this video a few times to make sure I'm doing things right and designing right.

What a great video! Cricut should include link to it on a box. Unfortunately, it's not enough just to buy a machine. Need to invest twice as much in accessories, materials and subscription to make a good use of the machine.

Thank you for this great guide. If I may suggest one thing, it would have been easier to follow your cursor when showing Cricut Design Space if it was larger and maybe with the click registration circle like I've seen in other software guides.

I just bought the maker 3. Never having used a cricut before I’m in over my head. I’ll need to watch this again. Helps a lot. Also had to get new computer with windows 10. 7 would not work. Where does it tell you that? Half the products you show local places don’t have. Where can you get supplies?
The best place for supplies is the Cricut website usually.
I watched a video where the person who made the video stated you do not have to use Cricut products/supplies to make your crafts...

I've gained enough courage to unbox my Explore 2, that I've had for about a month! The basic Cricut "language" has just been very intimidating, but you've certainly explained a lot.
I've purchased the Cricut as a food-dedicated piece of equipment. I have an edible printer but I could do so much more if I wasn't cutting out images with scissors or a scalpel🙄
There's a lot more for me to learn about cutting edible images/icing sheets for cake, but you've laid out the basics of the machine.

I don't recommend any of the Cricut machines for anything edible. They are not really food safe.
