The forward pass wasn’t reffed this game it seems 😂
Forward pass seemed to be a suggestion more than a rule 😂
I think we can let this one slide, it’s Christmas after all.
That could be said for most games. I normally see 3 or 4 blatant forward passes that are completely missed in every match.
@@mrbojangles5313It's not a good Christmas if you're from Gloucester though.
that is one of the most shocking reffing decisions i have EVER seen.
Refs had a shocker there for Quins 4th try. When it affects the outcome of the match, it's a problem.
Santi Carreras does not look at all bothered in playing for Gloucester. Goes half-arsed into every tackle and tries to do it all himself in attack
Great game, usually forward passes bemoaned by fans are on the edge decisions but i have to say that was blatant. Dombrandt was literally stood in front of the player passing so to me momentum cant be counted. Ref saying 'nothing clear' to me is just rushing the decision
Wonderful game though, great turnout at Twickenham, and fair play to Gloucester for taking it to Quins
why do they cut to Marler after every Quins try? unncecessary
true, it‘s the on-field players who deserve all the attention
That first pass wasn’t forward but people don’t understand the rules clearly 😂
Nick david 🔥
As a neutral supporter that pass left his hands forwards and went forwards
Harlequins❤
So many missed forward passes.
these games are uploaded unacceptably late
So true, URC has theirs up within a couple of hours.
The Gloucester pass for their try wasn't forward. The Harlequins one was a mile forward.
8 tries? There were 9 weren't there? Quins 5 and Gloucester 4, unless I'm being really stupid.
Where’d you get 8 tries from
@@notoliver86 They changed the title, used to say 8!
@@tinglydingle oh ok
An illegal turnover at the start??
The Gloucester player had his hands on the ground. Therefore the turnover was illegal and Quins got the penalty...
@@nickjames3055aye but the problem is I’ve easily seen that called the other way before. Soo many jackalers will set like that and not get pinged
@@morris9337 There's two factors here: 1) Is the jackler putting their weight on their hands (only touching the floor is not illegal) and 2) did the jackler steal the ball.
If they did put their weight on the floor via their hands but never touched the ball and Quins recycle the ball, then you don't pin it in the interest of continuity. But you need to be equitable to both teams.
I think people need to start realising that standard will change from game to game and you can't expect the exact same from two different refs who see and interpret differently. What matters is that consistency applies during the game.
@@nickjames3055 I think that’s the exact problem, the rules should be standardised enough so each game in consistent, shouldn’t be up to different refs
@@morris9337 the laws are clearer than ever. But we need to have some room for interpretation. Otherwise the game descends into a PK at every ruck with no more open play. 96% of rucks have at least 2 penalisable offences. Referees needs to choose which ones to penalise and we do that by decideding whether the offence impacted the speed, contest or space. Materiality as we call it. I'll attach in a seperate reply an excerpt from the IRFU refereeing manual.
Gloucester never win's
Marcus Smith once again showing he can only perform against the smaller teams and not against the top teams just like last week when Russell played him off the park
He played well against bath
Small teams like Racing 92.
@@somanytakennames Racing 92 are not the team they once were. After losing Russell the majority of their performances have been below par. They got dominated in Europe last year as well not that difficult to beat them these days
@@somanytakennames how big can the French be
Are you calling Bath a top team? They're absolutely awesome this year, but they're not a top team. They barely edged out Cardiff, nearly lost to Gloucester, got pummeled by Leicester, lost 24-18 to Northampton, and only beat Bristol by 1 point. They're going to get destroyed by Racing and Toulouse.
