Gold- from pinless CPUS using AP and hydrochloric acid and bleach

Finally loosened the pins from the CPUS . In this video you will see the use of copper 2 chloride ( AP) and bleach to recover the gold foils from the pinless cpus , it’s not much but every little bit counts .

I watched to see if one performs the same denox and smb steps as usual for cementation. Unsatisfied, I liked and subscribed anyway. Btw my DIY stannous gets weak often and I have made it a point to have a small container of AuCl (from previous refinings) to test my SnCl with. The AuCl seems to keep indefinitely, only need a small amount and can be diluted

DeNOXing is for nitric solutions
I used HCl and bleach as a strong oxidizer to dissolve the gold foils so there is no need to deNOX . However I probably should have heated the HCl + bleach solution and reduced . I am continuing to recover w/ cementation using copper pipe and aeration . But it looks like silver . More to come
