In this episode I show you guys how I roller set and tease out and style my wig and achieve big, old hollywood, jessica rabbit - esque hair. I've looked for so many tutorials online for this exact style and couldn't find any so I learned a lot of this through trial and error. But if you want more wig videos from real pros check out Bobbie Pinz and Wigs by Vanity on youtube!

Quick tip to cut down your setting and waiting time: after you steam it, throw it in the freezer. Once it's cold to the touch, your curls are set. It's a matter of 5 or 10 minutes versus waiting for it to naturally cool down and the sudden, super cold from the freezer really locks the curl in place.

Make sure the rollers you use around the back of the head align with the front. It ensures your curl pattern aligns when you go to style, enabling you to create a uniform fingerwave effect. Pro tip: tease each curl from bottom to tip then spread them horizontally, flattening the curl. You'll get a finger wave that holds it's shape. Tease and spray accordingly.

I know this is an older video of yours, but I can't express how thankful I am that you made this tutorial, and shared all of your other hair styling tips. Styling cosplay wigs is a bitch and a half, and you have a wonderful technique that works extremely well for synthetic fibers. I've returned to it several times over the last two seasons to restore and restyle my own wigs. They take a ton of abuse out on the floor, but they're like new again thanks to you. Bless you, and keep making this great content.

Also, for the tips of the 'hair' I dipped them in a pot of boiled water for a couple of seconds, just a few small sections at a time them smoothed them out with a towel held in my hand to straighten them :-))

    Cosplayer here!
I’ve tried this technique with a longass wig from arda wigs and bruh.
THIS WORKS RIDICULOUSLY WELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you do want to curl a really long wig Just make sure to use smaller rolls and give yourself extra time to make sure the steam goes through ALLL the hair. But other than that I vouch for this technique if you can’t do the traditional ‘dip in boiling water than dip in freezing water’ technique
