Gua Firing incident on 8 September 1980 : During the Jharkhand separate state movement, the Guwa firing incident took place on 8 September 1980, in which BMP jawans fired indiscriminately at the tribals. Dozens of people were killed and many were injured in this incident. This was the first incident in India in which firing took place in a hospital.
