The strategy of "sitting on a park bench and staring at the building across the road while everyone inside dies from their neural link leaking battery acid into their brain stem" is admittedly pretty strong.
The best one is synapse burnout because if you get the upgraded version it's one moment somebody sees half of their childhood just melt away in their brain and then the other half is the rest of their life instantly flashing before their eyes and a puff of fire as their brain spontaneously combusts and their skull catches flame
It was my second cause I always stick with the basics before I know how new stuff works. But pulling up to all the gigs, hitting a contagion on one dude and watching the whole building get wiped out was so dope. Felt like a netrunner fr
Cool thing i found as a hacker man in cb2077 is if you use the take control vehicle hack you get from the perk in the int tree and drive forward and stop the cars owner gets out and runs away. Leaving the car unlocked. Getting in an unlocked car isnt considered illegal so you can do this infront of a cop and get no stars. Works on MOST cars except the super high end ones
Contagion is absolutely goated for groups of enemies, you should try that even if you already finished the playthrough. Also no suicide? The funny button
My only playthrough of CP77 was primarily hacking. I didn't shy away from gunplay or stealth, but I did as much as possible with hacking people or security systems. Yeah, several parts probably took longer, but there's something about hacking into a site's cams and eliminating 90% of the opposition without anyone ever becoming aware of a problem.
@KairuYakushiHD I rarely stealth on VH. I played a ton of helldivers before getting into cyberpunk and we keep dying til we get the job done! You've never lived til you've shredded an entire compound like a cyberpsycho on that difficulty. 😂
Looks like you didn't find my two favorite quick hacks, those being turn off their brain, and the more permanent version of turning off their brain (with their own bullet)
Commenting this before watching the video. On my first blind playthrough of the game ( and only ) I did a hacker intelligence build, and early game was a slow start but late game with strong weapons to boot you are overpowered. Being able to clear over half of a building and turn every defence they had into my own all the while picking them off one by one just because I saw one of their own cameras while 50 feet away is so so satisfying. Sometimes I would choose to not blow up everyone's brains just to challenge myself a little bit more
The Phantom Liberty ending is far more suited to be the canon ending. I mean, after 100 percent game completion, it puts all the characters to long overdue rest.
I've always found it funny how the guy in Johnny's memories piddles around with the door gun in the helicopter. Dude it's a fucking heavy machine gun not a pistol, keep your booger hook on the bang switch until your target stops moving.
I only just started playing cyberpunk and really love it. I did mostly katana a while and it was fun, then restarted and wanted to try sneaky hacking. It started out feeling slow and meh, but wow, it's insane strong for me now. Big enemies die fast, packs of enemies die fast, you can get all the cool goodies and generally be like a super spy.
Try mixing it with the adrenaline tree from body, blood pump, biomonitor, microcyber cyberdeck, and the following combo in this order: cyberware malfunction, synapse burnout, cyberware malfunction x2 Insane damage, ram economy and health return on top of disabling sandy users
Wow I have like 1000 hours in this game and I've never seen anything like that attack at the point of no return. The fact that it's an Arasaka hitsquad right when you're about to meet the second most important person in the company makes it even funnier.
The minute you’re able to free roam the first section of night city and have the police scanner, you can do nothing but police missions and upgrade your character very early in the missions.
If anyone is thinking of trying this, I accidentally found out that casually pinging every single NCPD officer you pass while going around the city levels up your Netrunning skill ridiculously fast.
Jaco thank you no one likes or replies to my comments except you and I will always be a fan and I’m so happy I found your channel keep up the good work
In the brain dance you can just skip to the end and scan the documentation then restart the brain dance and immediately scan the vault and you can exit. Same logic applies to all the brain dances, just find the primary goal and you can leave.
Just finished my 2nd full playthrough, and I would agree it's almost like a different game. All of the choices too make it hard to have the same playthrough twice
if you find the netrunner in the animals mall for the voodoo boys quest, you can breach protocol and upload a daemon that disables everyone in one hack except sasquatch.
I can agree on the braindances. After playing through the game and knowing where I need to look, I still have to wait for certain objects and dialog to load in before I can skip/proceed through. I know this is a nitpick but in the intro it takes at minimum 7-15 minutes of boring diolog before you can proceed through the braindance (Same with the lab if ykyk). I don't usually skip through diolog to try new trees/hear/remeber things, but everything said in most braindances could make me care less.
I did this but I wanted to add a bit more flavor with the rest of the attribute point spread. Went 15 body +15 technical, everything else in cool. Started performing: cripple movement x2 + sonic shock + a quick jab to the back of the head with electric gorilla arms. The perks from Overlock make V darn near invincible plus high health from body. It helps if you are going no weapons and mostly stealth.
Fun fact deelzwheelz did this a while ago (I’m not accusing you of anything bc you probably didn’t know) he beat the chase scene while leaving arasaka tower

To your thing about a duo hacker and breached type multiplayer experience, there is this amazing game called Clandestine that is a co-op game where one person is an agent/spy type and the other is a hacker that scouts, navigates and hacks shit for them while the agent is the one actually on the ground. Its easily the best co-op experience I've had to this day. If this is a type of itch for you oh baby Clandestine will scratch it good.
A true intelligent merc would take militechs money shard , decrypt the shard and walk out without having to pay your own eddies
A true merc doesn't need none of that fancy bullshit like hack'n or chrome, a real merc just gets her done.
@@ravoniesravenshir3926 A successful merc is a profitable one. Ordnance costs money. Hacks are free

I always thought the "abandon your body to go off onto the internet" ending made more sense for a hardcore hacker.
I think it's also for people who think that Johnny deserves a second chance at life.

In most games, the stealth archer build is optimal. In this game it just looks like you are playing death note through cameras :)
I really like how the less stealth V uses, the more the random groups and gangs will appear to try to take them out. Fun touch.

I wish suicide was a guaranteed kill even on elite enemies, a dude blasting his own brains out and only losing 2/3rds health is kinda disappointing.

If you play on Very Hard, hacking + stealth is actually one of the most safe ways of playing most of the game until high level!
I shy away from stealth only because it's more fun to go in blasting. 25 ram with ridiculous regen and quickhack damage is funny

The Arasaka hit squad came after me pretty much at the exact same time in my first playthrough, with fairly similar results.
