We can clearly see the love that Brazil has for Iron Maiden! The scenery, the performance and the crowd is what makes this Song shine! It is beautiful for Mia and I to experience mastery in musicianship while a huge ocean of people witness greatness! I can't explain it, but this is what a concert should look like! Number of the Beast has become the traditional song to play after the break for the encore portion of the concert. They will say goodnight, thank the audience, and leave the stage. The lights go dark, and then "Woe to you, o earth and seed..." kicks in for the encore. It is amazing to watch live.
Few singers have this voice and knowledge.Patton is another beast.I was never a metal type,but always an Iron Maiden fan.As a small kid I bought Somewhere in time.Wow,eye-opener.one of the albums that staied with me and will always have a place in my mind and soul.

I went to a concert last year for a band called Uriah Heap. My 8 year old little brother actually caught a drumstick. It was awesome and I was so proud of him!

This was so much fun to see! Very similar to the first time I heard this song. Growing up in a very catholic family I had weird emotions about the artwork and was scared to death about having my Nana find out about me listening to "devil music" LOL it was scary and amazing at the same time. Them guys brought me through my darkest days.
The beauty of Iron Maiden is that a song written just today, will be a classic tomorrow. Once you get into their music, it's hard not to like any song. All because, somehow, they are all wonderfully written and sung. Steve Harris is a genius. And, what's not to like from Nicko? One of, if not the best drummer in heavy metal, a true down to earth man, always teasing the fans to warm them up, throwing sticks and skins, always smiling. I could bet, even if having a bad day, you will find him smiling and with a nice and kind word. Loved your reactions, ladies. Sorry for missing the live Halloween broadcasting. But the thing is, Number of the Beast is a warning: To not let the Devil take control of you in your dreams, where it was once thought you were the most vulnerable.
Dana's faith, if there is one show you make your dad take you to it's 100% Iron Maiden. Nothing like seeing Eddie walk out on the stage for the first-time. I was hoping for a Mia high note but not this time lol.

The song was from the Rabbie Burns peom Tam O'shanter which Steve remembered reading in English class when he was a kid in school.
