The solvents in contact cleaner can be rough on certain types of plastics. After experimenting with a lot of different products I’ve settled on WD40 as my overall favorite. However, I don’t want to imply that there are no other valid options such as the one you mentioned 👍

WD 40 company makes a contact cleaner product.. Pretty much does what you want it to do in many scenarios.
