Colorful orchestration adds intrigue to this lyrical work. Inspired by a dream, this sensitive piece uses melodic and harmonic fragments to create a swirling mist of instrumental colors. At times beautiful and at times tense, this sophisticated work is an excellent vehicle for tonal and phrasing development within the ensemble.
