I first heard this song when i was going through the motions of life after a friend died. I was hurting inside and at first thought that i could get through it alone... i shoved my best friend away for almost a year and i reconnected with him and i have a feeling the bond between me and him will never break... I felt like no one wanted me to be near them after my friend died... I heard this song and something clicked... 4 years its been... and the death of the friend still stings
I do love this song, it is a good time. it's both upbeat with an undertone of lostness, on top of the world, yes, but dying there and the loneliness of separation from people " wishing they could reach me" "up here i'm dying alone"? it all fit very well, with the imagery you chose and of course the show. both upbeat, and moving.

My favorite character is Sun, but that's mostly due to my love for his voice actor. Within team RWBY, I like Blake but Ruby is a close second, as once again, I love Lindsay. Black Sun is my OTP, but I adore Renora and if she were still around, Nuts and Dolts is up there as well. :)
