I appreciate how you explain every step from choosing the proper tender bean, giving reason for your cooking technique (stir fry the beans will dry them out so no water is needed), and using enough oil to coat all the beef so it doesn't stick. It looks delicious and I will try making it. Keep up the excellent work!
Thank you, we were gifted a packet of heirloom seeds of winged beans. I have never seen this plant before. But after seeing your video I am excited to try them.
First Year growing wing bean thankful to your advice. Will try this recipe in a a few week. Greeting from Ontario, Canada, zone 5. Fingers crossed 🤞 for good crops.
I am so glad you can speak English try enjoy watching Asian cooking but doesn't do me any good a lot of the time when I can understand what. This year I decided to grow winged beans I like your idea of boiling them first. I just stir-fried mine and garlic I was careful not to cook a mini longer than 3 minutes however they are still some of them are bitter.
Thank you so much for sharing your gardening and recipes so generously. I bought a packet of the fava bean paste from a local Chinese supermarket but it is not like yours. It is a paste with chillies and no whole beans like yours. The packing is exactly that same as shown in your video. Wondering how come your children can tolerate the spiciness. Thanks again for sharing.
I've never seen nor heard of those vegetables!? I like to walk through Oriental (and other nation's) markets just to see the "weird, unknown, cool foods" and often wonder "what's it for". Sometimes I'll write down the names of such things to learn about them but... more often than not, the recipes need more "weird, unknown, cool foods" I know nothing about, let alone trying to guess what will it taste like :-) Thank you for introducing those foods and showing how to use them. Great content and explanation.
@@quangtran8279 Yes. For sure, but it's interesting to see many different foods at the markets, and have a little clue how can one learn to use them. Thanks :-)
OMG, Regine, I just started watching your videos, "" ur new subscriber "" . This kind of vegetable is very expressive in canada, that is if u can find one in the market. This veggies is very popular in the Philippines and my mom loves it. But not easy to find one where we are, wish I am close to you. , I will be buying them for sure. Anyway, good luck with your future garden. love to watch you harvesting all ur veggies. Try to sell them at the farmers market. Stay safe.
Amazing insight on Chinese cooking ....So you like fava bean paste and I like it too. what about black bean paste. Don't you use that also. I don't see any recipe where you use that?
