- A full choir of Mariah's vocals touches you to the core. This must be what heaven sounds like. "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" was always my favourite track on "Merry Christmas". For my remix, I used the 2005 dualdisc version which featured some newly added vocals here and there. I took the original tempo down a little, to 64 BPM, then doubletimed the drumproduction to fit a 128 BPM slap-house style. Quite something different that I think hasn't been done to this track yet. So there ya have it. Just in time. Carey Christmas everyone!
