Ford Explorer high beam stays on, Stuck on, high beam, ford lights

- Vehicle came in with High beam always on when you turn the low beam on, and you can never turn it off unless you turn the low beam off, I already checked the wiring, there was no short or open circuit, also it is important to note that There is no BCM or ECM or any kind of Module that involve in turning this high beam light other than the combination switch or the multi function switch, relay and fuse. so the relay it seems was replaced and also stock in closed position, as soon as I disconnect the high beam harness from the switch the light turn off, So I did successfully replaced the multifunction switch and lighting issue was fixed.

Good video. I had to change one in a 1997 lincoln Town Car, and that required the steering wheel removed first. Now I have to do a 2004 Ford Expedition, which the column looks the same. Спасибо

Hello, this is the OEM # 2L2Z13K359AAB for the vehicle I was working on and it is the same 2002-2005, You can get aftermarket from your local auto parts store like AutoZone or Advanced Auto parts, also plenty on Amazon, search for combination Switch,,,,let me know in a comment how you make out after installation, good luck 🤞
I'm having an issue with my 06 Lincoln navigator that the high beam indicator does not show on the instrument panel, nor do the high beams come on. I've only changed out the 20A fuse. I switched out the Relay with my neighbors identical vehicle. Any help is greatly appreciated.
so i have a question, because i just replaced that switch. the high beams work when i pull the switch back, but they don't turn on when i push the switch forward. Did Rockauto send me a faulty switch?
Make sure it is properly installed first and try with ignition on, if still don't work it may be the wrong switch or it is faulty.
@@carservicepro it is. all connectors clicked in place. so what you're saying is rockauto sent me a faulty unit. great...
2nd time i used them and both times they've sent me faulty parts, never using them again

Low beams don't come on just high
There is no magic answer to your question, you need to diagnose wiring, fuses, relays, switches, bulbs and etc.
