I brought the clamshell for my upcoming cruise. I'm hearing that it's more like first come, first serve! How will I get my clamshell if we get off the ship, not the first group called?
The purchase of the clamshell puts you as an excursion and "on the first one" if you choose to do so. If you are on the second you will be fine too. You will walk straight to the beach and find a clamshell and wait until someone with a shirt comes and unlocks it for you. I'd try my best to be ready to get on the first tender. DO NOT go by the time on your ticket! They will not check!
We did and they had a person drive us to the Cabana. You will receive tickets in your room for the cabana or villa. You may want to check in the ship as well at customer service in case they’ve changed. I’d check a day or two in and advance when line is low.
I love that about the Island! Makes it different than the other ports of Carnival and makes it more natural to me. I see what your saying though. Maybe some don’t like the ocean? We always hit the pool at Amber Cove, but that’s because they don’t offer a nice beach.

We’ve been 5 times in 18 months. Absolutism love HMC. It’s always a chill beach day on one of the prettiest beaches we’ve been to.

The food was not good at all was there this August 2023 the all u can eat was not good on the island
100% agree! We have a separate vlog on the Island BBQ.......NOT GOOD!
