The books of Nestorius, declared to be heresy, were burned under an edict of Theodosius II.

The Koran says the Bible is the trustworthy Word of God and the accusation that it’s been corrupted, as Muslim’s falsely claim, that Jesus Christ body was somehow substituted by another man. There were numerous eyewitness accounts not just believers. The evidence is there/ most if not all modern secular historians have stated that Christ was crucified. Please read the full gospel of John and see if you don’t come to the conclusion that He is who He claims to be. Do the research, it’s absolutely worth it. God bless you on this journey.

However, I believe "Al-Hafeeth" might more accurately reflect the original Arabic, capturing the emphatic "th" sound. It's interesting to see the variations in translating "th" to English when the sound does exist in the language.

Do you still think it contradicts our belief when reading a couple verses before and after? We believe the Father is the only true God, the Son is the only true God, and the Holy Spirit is the onnly true God.

Is he just greater because Jesus isn't God or is it because God the son lives as a human on earth among sinners and is getting treated badly by his own people, and the Father therefore is greater in Glory and status in that short time Jesus was on earth, which would also make sense when Jesus prays to the Father and talks about getting the same Glory they had together before he became man? Probably the last one.

During the incarnation, Jesus was temporarily “made lower than the angels” (Hebrews 2:9), which refers to Jesus’ status. The doctrine of the incarnation says that the second Person of the Trinity took on human flesh. Therefore, for all intents and purposes, Jesus was fully human and “made lower than the angels.” However, Jesus is fully divine, too. By taking on human nature, Jesus did not relinquish His divine nature-God cannot stop being God. How do we reconcile the fact that the second Person of the Trinity is fully divine yet fully human and by definition “lower than the angels”? The answer to that question can be found in Philippians 2:5-11. When the second Person of the Trinity took on human form, something amazing occurred. Christ “made himself nothing.” This phrase has generated more ink than almost any other phrase in the Bible. In essence, what it means is that Jesus voluntarily relinquished the prerogative of freely exercising His divine attributes and subjected Himself to the will of the Father while on earth.
