Gotta be honest, I love the picking videos but having your dad around makes it that much more special. Never had that experience and it just looks like a good time. Don't take it for granted!
You are so fortunate Matt to have your Dad. My Dad passed a little over a year ago😢 He was my best friend. Treasure the time you have. Love your videos!!!
When it came to the cabbage patch and that stupid vendor was like someone is gonna pick it up for $10 and Matt was like oh u want to put it in the back?? 😂😂😂 knowing that guy is full of shit…
A blanket is a good shout however his dad was their with him so an extra pair of eyes help, but if you’re alone and aware of your surroundings you can quite easily watch it. Plus Matt is like a 6foot3 bloke so not many people are gonna risk stealing from him haha
Wow, what a busy flea market today! ( : Glad you had Papa Picker with you as your wing man today! ( : Awesome flea market, as far as size and different variety of materials, but higher prices than your normal flea market. At least you know how to haggle the prices down, so you got great deals as always! ( : Love watching, Matt! ( :
Haha!! I grew up at the San Jose Flea Market in 60's. I always thought my Dad came home with more "stuff" than he took to sell. Also, our 2 car garage never had a car in it.😂 But I've loved Flea Markets, garage sales, auctions all my life. Back in the day when decorating my home, I affectionately named my style "Early Garage Sale". And I loved it!! Thanks for bringing up great memories! Love your work and inspiration...❤ BTW San Jose Flea Market was only a few blocks big...😅
Morning Matt dang I’m 26 min late! People already bombarded your messages. Hope you see mine! We appreciate you and your videos! I’m from the South Bay So Cal area maybe someday I’ll catch you down here! Many blessings! 💜
Nice haul Matt.. That's really awesome the beard trimmer is worth so much..😲🤔 The human skeleton was also a fantastic deal..😍😉 Keep up the great work.. Take care..👍💕🔥👊
Ninja Turtles are one toy that most of a figures value will be in its accessories. If it's a loose TMNT generally 1994-1997 Turtles will be where most of the valuable ones are.. 1991-1993 really needs to have accessories (a few outliers like the Scratch/Hotspot you showed and 1st wave of Universal Monsters) 1990 the Giant ones are always good and anything 1988-1989 really need accessories to be worth $10+ only one that comes to mind is Foot Soldier that can go for $15 loose mostly because of Army building. 1988 Soft Head versions of the original figures go for more especially with accessories.
Did you already sell that bird statue w/driftwood? It could be made by Grace Dyer. She did bird paintings in Driftwood frames. Has the same kind of look
Cool bones and awesome price! I flip all my medical and really weird old vintage finds to my local oddity shop. Became good friends with em over the years. Theyd love that.
Great finds, I noticed when you bought those trucks an iPhone box. I've been surprised people will buy empty ones. Probably not worth buying there but if you happen to come across them check out the comps JIC. Love your bumper music BTW. Kinda reminds me of spaghetti westerns or old Japanese monster movies.
Your father was a great help. Have you had items.lifted from your cart when you weren't looking? You really had a big hit on the Remmington at the end!
Thought of you this weekend, had a "PTP" kinda pick. I got New packs of vtg underwear, thermals, and undershirts at one stop. Thar skeleton is definitely a cool flip. Thanks for the video Matt
Has anyone noticed that with ebay's new international shipping program you can't opt out on a per item basis? Makes it easy to run afoul of what can and cannot be shipped internationally or individual items you just don't want to ship internationally. Would love to hear your thoughts Matt???
Is this the flea market on Capitol Expressway? I used to live in San Jose. Never been to the flea market. Used to go to the movies that shared the site with the Drive-In. There used to be a flea market on Berryessa Rd which I went to as a kid. I don't think its there any more. I think the BART expansion took over the land.
Matt I have a question I see you with your dad a lot what does he enjoy picking up when you guys are out picking just a question that's all much love from N.C ❤️
Gotta be honest, I love the picking videos but having your dad around makes it that much more special. Never had that experience and it just looks like a good time. Don't take it for granted!
Your so kind Kenneth, thanks for watching!
@@papapicker7501 Always!
This! I always love seeing Papa Picker. Especially the garage sale videos, I love seeing what he buys too. ❤
Love seeing you and Matt working the thrift scene together @Papa Picker! ( :

That you’re very trusting just leaving your cart laying there like that with all your stuff in it lol
I know! I would put a blanket over it.

"Put it in the rib cage." LOL 😆 That's something someone says on a daily basis 🤣
your dad is a rock star!

I struggle with lack of space and also time to list. Plenty of time for your videos though!😊
Just waiting for the day you buy a new wallet. Glad to see the old one go. Anyway, nice video as always!

That place looked crazy! Amazing you found the quality stuff you did with all those people there.
Getting the discounts all around today!
Man I didn't think the electric shaver is worth that much awesome pick Matt
That Remington shaver! The comps are crazy! Why so collectible? Cool finds as usual. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!
Not sure why it’s worth so much. Probably because it’s discontinued ?
The owl is really cute
Awesome job!
Thanks for another great video!
Cool buys for a cool guy! You have become my favorite picker to watch.
I love how Matt tells us what everything is worth!
The best deal was the $1 coffee ☕️ .

Would love to hear your thoughts Matt???
I’ll need to look into that. Thank yoh
That human anatomy model is something I would pick up, much to my husbands chagrin😂
$10 for the skeleton is a no brainer, literally.
Great picks Matt!

Thanks Matt, watch everyday!
@-PartTime_Pickers Matt, I will pass, please pick someone else.
Ray
The skeleton looks really cool too and a green price for it
lol XD 😆 savage move on the adidas purchase .... love it
Just a reminder, Matt, that it would be super cool if you posted the cost of each item next to the possible sale price.
He pulls his wad of bills and price is revealed during the transaction. Probably not necessary to show at end.

Yep the capital flea. Thanks for watching
One of these days would you slowly show how to use Goggle lens from finding the correct app to the end result? Thank you!
Woot woot
Really enjoy your buying
@-PartTime_Pickers did u message me
Matt, do you ever come across NHL McFarlane’s ever? I’m in Michigan, so I’m looking for Detroit Red Wings. Any vintage hockey memorabilia as well.
I’ll keep an eye out. Thanks for watching
Bro. You ask price and ask for exactly $5 off of everything. Rinse and repeat. Good formula
Matt what App do you use to check items ?
That skeleton!! 🖤
Have you listed yet?
Any clue as to why the shaver is worth so much? There’s no way people collect stuff like that… is there?
hey what app or website did you used for the ninja turtle to scan for a price?
I’m not Matt obviously but it was Google lens.
@@hodgepodgefinds ok thanks. i doesn't matter. as long you know and willing to let me know than that fine.
Matt I have a question I see you with your dad a lot what does he enjoy picking up when you guys are out picking just a question that's all much love from N.C ❤️
He’s into tools usually. For the most part I think he just enjoys hanging out
@@PartTimePickers that's awesome thank you for answering my question
What scanner do you use to check comps on eBay?
Great job
🦉too cute!
Good Stuff!
Nike's sneakers under 2years old are still under warranty as people don't realise that they are they think that they only have 1 years warranty
What is Google lens?
Again... you are telegraphing your buys. "HOW MUCH ARE YOUR TURTLES?" Nope, its "how much for the toys?"
There ya go! LOL
