Nice upgrade! Although kids safety should be paramount! Your young and May not be familiar with muscle cars of my day. So I noticed the hood scoop is on backwards. No big deal, easy fix! Enjoy the kids and car!
omg that is hilarious and I never even noticed or paid any attention to it hahahaha that's embarrassing since I drive a Mopar myself lol Thanks for the catch! I'll definitely change that out
Someone else mentions first gear delete I'll have to look into that. But never thought about linking up two batteries! Definitely going to try that now!
Found this video - i have the exact same Jeep and I want to do this upgrade. Did you only replace the motors and add a brake module? What about tires or replacing axle rods, steering rods? Do you think its needed?
I did not replace any of those... I plan on doing tires one the plastic is gone but for now the girls love the burn outs and slides hahaha but I did nothing but motors and brake module. It's a ton of fun.
I have definitely talked about doing this! But the girls love the burn outs so I'll probably wait till these plastics wheels are complete garbage then when I get a new set do the rubber upgrade!
@@ZackZweifel thanks! Is the Jeep still holding up ok? Did a 20v lithium in my daughters and as expected, smoked the gearboxes in short time. I like the idea of the metal gears and beefier motors on the kit you installed
@K Bail so far so good still. But I only allow her to drive it on the roads now.. I've heard people say the yards are super hard on the gears. Sounds crazy but I only allow them to drive in slow gear in the yard and they can rip it down the road in fast all day long.
She was right, daddy, helmut for that powerful wheel spins

Your kids are adorable. You are an awesome Dad.
To kind! To kind! Thank you though 😀
Hold on tight kids!
We don't need no helmets! It has a roll cage hahaha 😆
You could probably get away with linking 2 20v dewalt batteries up and really rip. That and a first gear delete if the new gearbox doesn't have it.
