I always preferred The New Adventures over the earlier seasons of Batman TAS. Bruce was meaner, the simplified costume is visually striking, and Kevin Conroy had perfected his Batman voice
I love TNBA Batman because he felt less of a pushover than his TAS counterpart. Also, his Bruce Wayne model always reminded me of Prof Utonium from Powerpuff Girls 😆
I remember my default Batman TAS figure for the longest time was the McDonald's Happy Meal one. It looked accurate and I didn't think much of articulation when I was that young--a great desk/shelf Batman! I agree that the Mafex version didn't look THAT much better than the DC Collectibles one, so I passed on it and am perfectly happy to have my DCC one standing next to my Superman TAS figure ("World's Finest" is THE best Batman/Superman movie). That Joker is tempting, though...
Totally random I was playing with my Kenner detective Batman. Making a fruity little video of him rotating around Just recently. Appreciate you keeping the dream alive! 🤙
what I'm seeing its the third release of that batman, since the original had bad QC issues (mine got its leg broken with crappy plastic) they did do a second release later on with some fixes the third was the same as model 2 but added some paint shading to look animated.
My kinda video! I personally think Kenner/Hasbro line was the most accurate to the show. Mafex would be #2 because the DCD version is just too damn bulky and doesn't scream tnba to me
Thank you for this. I've been going back and forth on the McFarlane due to a lot of poor reviews. Gonna just grab it. This isn't the first time I've seen a review where McFarlane put Mafex to shame honestly. Especially for the price. I recently picked up the Filix Toys DK Ledger Joker and THAT is how a $100 action figure should be done. He makes my Mafex Bale look bad.
I actually didn't like how Joker looked in New Batman adventures. He needs the red lips. The BTAS looks amazing and Justice league Unlimited was the actual improvement of that design. I felt New Batman adventures was kind of a downgrade.

Especially because Bruce was no longer wearing that awful Brown suit with the banana yellow shirt.

Reall hoping Mafex do a classic BTAS Batman
I remember that Wizard article as well! Blew my mind to see Nightwing was making his animated debut.
I've got the DC direct version. Hopefully we get an OG BTAS Mafex Batman with improved joints.
I was today years old when I found out Mafex made a New Batman Adventure Series figure
This Mafex Figure Bruce Wayne Batman Head kind of look like Ben Affleck..
Not at all.

Yes
the Kenner brings back soo many memories man.
Thanks for your opinion. At $100, it should be perfect.
something tells me they are developing this for the BTAS but probably just got TNBA license
That kenner figure tho 😭❤️
I loved this video, I have the Kenner and first DC Direct release of these, and I am glad to see the comparisons!
Love this figures! 🦇🦇🦇
I hoped you review the superman future state worlds of war figure soon
He’s on the list. Just haven’t seen em in stores yet.
@@ToyShiz alright amigo

The knees on the McFarlane Adventures continues are the absolute worst. Even with heating they break easily

Talk more about his lips.
You fell and bumped your head LMAO. Just stick to statues, kid
