For a moment i thought you dumped the minecraft guide and started a new world!! I also like the fact that you locked your gear again like when you updated the minecraft survival series.
Wattles, my name is Alex. I am no cap one of your biggest fans. Your survivals guides are awesome, entertaining, and wholesome. Please keep up the content creation. I do have one complaint, my friend, if you will allow me, and it is thus: I wish you made more videos more often for the survival guides. God bless you bro.
well thank u!! my goal is to get these out a little quicker again!! These are just the ones that take quite a bit more time to make so they end up dropping slower.
As usual, I love your guide episodes. I like the idea of building out the base on the side with the new house, and maybe something in the water in between both sides to bring them together a different way - maybe an underwater science lab as a new brewing location? Maybe a glass tunnel connecting the two sides as well?
I love seeing my feed filled with all these Episode Ones!! But I am so glad you did not restart your world. I much prefer when UA-camrs go somewhere new in the same map. I think you should continue to expand this side of the river. And maybe you can link up the two villages with a bridge. I love the starter house. The new tuff blocks are so good.
I’ve been subbed since about 500k-600k subs and I love your videos. I’ve watched all of your series’ and I’ve watched the guide season 3 at least 5 times in its entirety. Keep up the great work Wattles. You’re the best Minecraft youtuber
@@wattlesplays I am really noob at minecraft and I know this is a dumb question and you probably won't say yes but do you think you and me could start a survival world together and you can teach me stuff?? Btw I am still watching your old survival minecraft I definetly need to come to this as soon as I finish it!! Love ur content!!
If anyone is wondering what program he used to delete his chunks, it’s called MCA Selector The program updates your world live, so there’s no undoing most of changes you’ll make. Be sure to back up your world before messing around with it!
This is the best tool ever for updating Java.... so easy and clean! Is there something like it for Bedrock? I've tried Amulet but it's painful when you just want a simple view to select/unselect multiple large areas.
Always excited to see a new guide episode! Love the throwback to season 3 (although this is very different, it's not bad). In my opinion, I would like to see you do new things at the cherry blossom base, but I like both options. :)
I just started a new world after many updates of not and I too got a really nice spawn. All the wood types bordered together within a few hundred blocks of one another. A builders dream🥰 I plan on doing a build for each biome, and focusing on what resources it has in terms of theme/block usage
Loved the episode, build and chats as usual, but my input for today is to stay by the river!! Keep it more original like Guide Season 3. It’ll also be really cool to be at one starter base vs the other and look across the river to see the start of each update.
Thankyou for this video, I just started play minecraft my friend told me to play from 5 years ago but I dont want because the graphic look not good. Then I watch minecraft video and now I know why a lot of people play it, since this game has a lot to do and a lot of adventure.
Wattles i love how you build out your bases. with dedicated builds for farms and even the important villagers. Have you considered having several smaller bases, leveraging varying surroundings to have different towns. Building a coastal village could be exciting. Or swamp. Of course youll have fun incorporating all the new 1.21 tuff and copper in some striking surroundings. 1.20 brought the cherry grove and you rushed there and built one of the best bases ever (RIP Jungle Base in 1.17) But now we've seen a great cherry grove base and we are ready to move on! This may also be a good time to trade for Maps to the woodland Mansion, helping you explore the surroundings to scope out future sites. Unfortunately you won't have to look very far for the trial chamber. P.S. I love how you did the paywall challenge. I love the innovation and enthusiasm. Keep up the good work!
You put a lot of work in during 1.20, but it's also nice to keep adding new buildings and farms to the world. I'm a little torn, it's your 1.21 world, do what you want man.
Hey wattles!! Greetings from Bulgaria!! Wanna share something with you that I just noticed in my new world. I entered a big cave and collect almost half a stack of exposed diamonds for 15-20 minutes. Not sure if the new 1.21 version have something with that but never before experienced such a success 😅 And here you some challenge - make a museum with every first item you found, mine or get somehow and of course never will use for something else but as an antique!
I started my new world less than a week ago, random seed, and there’s a handful of villages close to spawn, and underneath the closest one, there’s a trial chamber. I’ve never struck gold like this before
Keep the builds separate, so you can compare the before and after update builds. Put some railroad tracks down the center between the two. Challenges? Build secret redstone activated hiding places as you get there.
You should build more at this location. It does mean you'll have to travel more in the long run, but it'll make sure that all the areas get seen regularly and it'll make the world feel bigger.
just wanted to say this but this starter house is probably my favorite build like that build makes me want the world download. and i think you should continue the river.
If the farm is a more long term farm i would build it back over at the main base, but i think it would also be cool to expand that side of the river and make a little copper village. Nothing more than a few buildings but just to expand that area put and give you more reason to go back to the starter zone. And if its a starter farm it wpuld match the starter zone more than it would being at the cherry base
I must challenge you to honor the tinkering star of this update - use the crafter on a new or existing farm / storage space. Maybe that will unlock your other Redstone components, or access to certain farms 🤫
Finally playing in 1.21 feels so nice, huh? Love the build. But I have one question: what is that hole in the floor??? Not the one with the water.🤔 Challenge: Might as well find a trial chamber. XD Edit: Haha never mind the hole question. I didn't let the video play long enough.
Once you find your first diamond then I think you can take your diamond gear back, and once you make your first netherite ingot, you can get your netherite gear back
CHALLENGE: Build an automatic chicken farm that when the chickens lay eggs, it filters raw chicken and feathers into chests when they drop and shoots eggs back into the chicken nest.
give me some challenges for the next few episodes plssss 👇👇
Find All Sherds!
Yo. Thanks for the subs 🎉
my challenge: try and find a village, and maybe get full diamond gear?
Visit a trial chamber, and try to get the new armor trims
Defeat an ominous trial chambers with iron gear only
For a moment i thought you dumped the minecraft guide and started a new world!!
I also like the fact that you locked your gear again like when you updated the minecraft survival series.
i feel like it adds a fun challenge!! salute to you for remembering the survival series 🥺🥺

OMG well thank ya!!
You could:
Get Netherite Armour
Stack up on new tuff block variations
Find a trial chamber
Get breeze rods and a heavy core, and craft the mace
I’m so glad u did this!! I loved this world. AHHHH I love this idea lol

bro thank you for saving me probably 45 minutes of my life
I'm just coming back to this channel after about a year I remember watching Minecraft guide when 1.17 came out.
Am I the only one that thinks it needs some campfire action up in the chimney? Where's the smoke out of the top of the build! ❤🔥🔥
No your not the only one
I absolutely love your guides every year!! Thank you Wattles

9:35 it might be a little bit TUFF haha! love ur hidden jokes wattles
W 1.21 cant wait for the crafter
I do love to see you expand more on the river, THIS HOUSE IS SO SO PRETTY 😭
I remember when you did this kind of thing in Season 3! That full reset of even the base was crazy though! I like this system more!
There is not a single log in wattles world that isn't stripped 😂
He learned that with sandiction: “An unstripped log is an ugly log”
Actually, I just noticed it.
Wattles does like stripped logs
Let’s go! Day 1 is always the best
That is a very sharp looking house. You are very talented.
My anxiety waiting for wattles to chop trees before 7:00: 📈📈📈📈📈📈📈

New house looking good!

10:24 man, Wattles has never been more wrong than this moment right here
That lake area with the cabin is a good look.
wattles you posted like 90 separate 10+ minute long videos covering very similar content about this update, I also am very happy you are free
Yaaayyyyy! Damn im happy wattles started a new season.
Looks good. Mossy cobblestone looks good with the tuff blocks.
Unlock challenge: finish gathering all the wolf variants and armor them.
Deine Videos sind einfach immer ein Hit! 💥
the steep roof fits in super well with the winterish vibes of the biome, nice!
thanks!!

LONGER EPISODES PLEEEEAAASE🙏
Would love to see the other side of the river get expanded 💪🏻 eventually you could maybe make a really cool bridge to connect the 2 sides

Good luck in your 1.21 guide chapter 3 and I have a good name for chapter 3 the trials & chambers chapter 3🤗
Bro I live in India and you upload your videos in the midnight and I miss out on them 😢 (currently it's 5:47 am here)
Wattles I would love to see you go back to your main base to build more farms! The sweet cherry grove!
@Wattles Expand this side of the river! I like the idea of this side being 1.21 themed

That house. Its...gorgeous.

just wanted to say this but this starter house is probably my favorite build like that build makes me want the world download. and i think you should continue the river.

The new guide logo rocks!

15:34 Totally stay at the main base. otherwise what’s the point of keeping the old world?
I'm late to say this but, your on hermitcraft now! Grian has built your creeper farm in his base. Next we'll be seeing you on the season intro.
Getting access to more builds feels like it’s defeating the purpose of “chapter 3”
Start 'fresh' on the new side of the river
I would love to see different areas be for different updates! Like, anything you build in 1.21 should be with the rest of the 1.21 builds
I must challenge you to honor the tinkering star of this update - use the crafter on a new or existing farm / storage space. Maybe that will unlock your other Redstone components, or access to certain farms 🤫

"a series where we guide and give advice"(or something)
PROCEEDS TO STARE AT THE SUN WITH A SPYGLASS
I would like to see you build a new base at that cool looking mountain near your starter base or build a base out of your stronghold.
I would love to see you move to the badlands for a new base area!
i cant wait for the "I Got THE BEST START In Minecraft 1.22 Survival! (Episode 1)" in a year from now😁

Petition to bring back Guide Season 2 opening music back for this series
Already at 4k in under 24 hours! Dang Wattles!
New house looks awesome.... but pretty lonely over the river by itself, definitely needs a little company and at least a couple builds over there
rip minecraft 1.21 hardcore😢
I wonder if you got anything planned for the doggo armor 👀
What wolf/dog variant are you getting first? Any names if so?
need those wolves from the giant spruce biomes
@@wattlesplays Yeah those are the best. I might be biased though because they look exactly like my irl dog lol.
*Idea for (final) challenge*
Defeat ominous trail to fully unlock everything.
I started a new world and I literally spawned near a pillager outpost. Perfect for getting omnious potions 😀
new farms at the main base if that's the way you are leaning slay it king.
Oooo I had to click to see this-someone actually got the *best start* in a Minecraft world?!?! 😮
Can’t wait to see what you make!
Once you find your first diamond then I think you can take your diamond gear back, and once you make your first netherite ingot, you can get your netherite gear back
Yes new series (almost)
Like the new Cape ❤

CHALLENGE: Build an automatic chicken farm that when the chickens lay eggs, it filters raw chicken and feathers into chests when they drop and shoots eggs back into the chicken nest.
Build at the new place
Get all the new challenges the trophy’s for the new update I think it would be cool also love your videos ❤❤
For the chandelier you should’ve done the copper lamp
“It’s free.99” 🤣🤣🤣

new home looks good but I say make new farm by the main base
yay :3
love to see how this goes!!
You also could have reset statistics and advancements if you wanted to track the early game progress a bit easier :)
Best narrator on UA-cam
I think you should build up this side of the river
Turn the area around the new house into a base-away-from-base.
