The Di’Anno albums I go back and forth on. I love them both equally. Like you I used to have Number over Piece but now I think Piece is so much better. No Prayer is so much better than given credit for. Some of you list I may disagree with but I think it’s cool that different people can appreciate different albums more than others. We are all fans and that’s what matters. Awesome video dude
Brave New world and The X Factor are two albums that really grew on me, I didn't like them at first until I gave them both a second listen. Seventh son of a Seventh son will always be my number one, the concept and overall storytelling on that album is absolutely brilliant.

Before you read my list, I love ALL the maiden albums, personally i don't see that maiden have bad albums, they just have albums that are weaker compared to each other. 17)The final frontier 16)Senjutsu 15)The book of souls 14)No prayer for the dying 13)Fear of the dark 12)Dance of death 11)A matter of life and death 10)Virtual XI 9)Peace of mind 8)Brave new world 7)The number of the beast 6)killers 5)Powerslave 4)The X factor 3)Iron Maiden 2)Somewhere in time 1)Seventh son of a seventh son
My all time favorite band with Judas Priest. My ranking changes from time to time, but at this moment it would have to be. 17. Fear Of The Dark 16. The Final Frontier 15. Senjitsu 14. Dance Of Death 13. Virtual 11 12. Book Of Souls 11. Brave New World 10. A Matter Of Life And Death 9. The X Factor 8. No Prayer For The Dying 7. Somewhere In Time 6. Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son 5. Powerslave 4. Piece Of Mind 3. Number Of The Beast 2. Iron Maiden 1. Killers

Fear of the Dark 7. Somewhere In Time 6. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son 5. Piece of Mind 4. Powerslave 3. Iron Maiden 2. Killers 1. The Number of the BEaST
1. Killers- The debut might have a slightly better lineup of songs but the production on Killers gives it the edge IMO. 2. Iron Maiden- Has there been a better debut? 3. The Number of the Beast- Although I prefer Di’anno, Bruce sings his ass off on this one and the band still had a bit of that punk edge. 4. Piece of Mind- 4 & 5 are tossups. 5. Powerslave- One of Maiden's best. 6. Somewhere in Time- Some great songs on this one but consistency and lack of self editing start becoming a problem. All the other Maiden albums are a bit of a blur. There are tracks I like on most, and even some great songs, but the good stuff becomes fewer and farther between. The Blaze albums I would rank at the bottom. His vocals never fit the band. I never cared for Seventh Son. I hate the keyboards. Maiden’s most recent albums are an exercise in bloated excess. They need a good producer who will cut the fat and keep the songs under 5 minutes.
I have all the albums, but I don't listen to anything after 88. I have told you my favorite IM album is Maiden Japan. I am 61, but the metal heads that I work with are all GHOST fans and say Iron Maiden's Phantom of the Opera sucks compared to Ghosts. I just shake my head in disbelief.
I think as they went on they got more alborate and long winded in some ways stuff I listen to most is from the debut to seventh son of a seventh son. 🎸🎵🎵
The amount of polish that powerslave has is insane while I do prefer the diano era powerslave I feel is just objectively there best album like this is the album you would introduce to new comers for Iron Maiden
You nailed it Doc. Final Frontier is the WORST Maiden album by far. 1. Piece of Mind 2. Killers 3. The Number of the Beast 4. Powerslave 5. Somewhere in Time 6. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son 7. I Never understood why people don't like Back In The Village, it RULES. Nice of you to mention my favorite Maiden track of all time, The Lonliness of the Long Distance Runner, such an amazing song. Also nice to NOT mention the two worst Maiden songs, Holy Smoke and Wasting Love, god those are fucking awful, even worse than Angel & Gambler to me.
Your top 3 is basically mine and I honestly can’t decide if I like the debut or killers they are both just top tier I can listen to those albums pretty much everyday I know a lot of people dont like the non Bruce albums but they are missing out big time
Fear of the Dark sht sandwich seemed a bit high on the list considering there's only 2 good songs. I also have Final Frontier pretty low, but I do like a lot of stuff on that one, but the stuff I don't like is so bad it's unlistenable. Satellite 15 is a steaming pile of turds. Aisles of Avalon, outside of the opening parts, is an assault to the ears. Man Who Would Be King is a lesson in extreme bland boredom & The Wild Wind can blow out my azz. That song is terrible. Things like Starblind and The Talisman though, those are fckn killer tracks. Eldorado, Mother of Mercy, Alchemist, all solid. Gotta agree on Dance of Death. That has grown on me a lot even though I always liked it. Production on Dance of Death and Final Frontier are both pretty shoddy brickwalled/poorly mixed, but what can you do when you got Steve and Kevin Shirley fckn around in the studio?

Dance of death is definitely my favorite after bruce came back
100% but there's a lot of shit
@@diamondd2778 Only Wildest Dreams is a bit lof a lesser track, but all the rest are bangers in my book!
Glad to see some love for No Prayer For the Dying. Not perfect but a lot of gold.

Gotta agree 💯 then killers
A matter of life and death is a really solid album best track “ for the greater good of god “ . Total banging track after the intro .
I'm gonna catch hell, but I only have Number, Piece, and Powerslave! That's all I need for a Maiden fix! 🤘
I’m one of the rare ones who loves FOTD and No Prayer….

I love Ghost. And I think their version of Phantom Of The Opera is garbage.
When I say Maiden Japan, I mean the Deluxe Version. Even though I bought the EP back in the day and loved it.
Dance of Death is indeed the best late era Maiden album. It's not even close. Actually my 4th favorite Maiden album overall.
I think as they went on they got more alborate and long winded in some ways stuff I listen to most is from the debut to seventh son of a seventh son. 🎸🎵🎵

Here is the ranking: All of them, in the order of release, except Killers is 1st. Fight me.
Pretty good man! I would put the first Maiden number one and Killers second
I like the first one more, but Killers is also a 10/10, they never did a record like that before or after
