The only thing that I will criticize here is that I think you should wash the rice first until the water runs virtually clear

That's a fair point, and there is certainly nothing wrong with washing the rice first. There are arguments to be made for rinsing and for not rinsing, but either way works for me. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!

Video doesn't make sense. You say 2 parts water to rice ratio but then you use 4 cups of water and 4 cups of rice.

@dannyatkinson1454 - Sorry for the confusion. I probably slurred my words together a bit. I actually say you need equal parts of water to rice. So in our case, we used 4 cups of water to 4 cups of white rice. For brown rice, you should use more. We used 5 cups of water for 4 cups of brown rice. I hope that helps!
