Hi Ma'am
Our 2 months old baby failed in the BERA test one time. The doctor is confirming it is hearing loss and asking us to go for surgery and implant immediately.
But our baby responds to sounds sometimes.
The baby is not premature, born with normal weight (2.63 kgs), and cried immediately after birth.
Our parents or grandparents have no hearing problems in our family.
Shall we wait for few months and do the test again or go for an implant?
Kindly suggest.
