I have faith in the Lakers, but it's completely evident why the Nuggets have had their number the last couple seasons. AD has to be sensational offensively and defensively against the best player in basketball, Jokic, every single game. The reason the Lakers won the chip in 2020 is because they had superior big men in Dwight and Mcgee who played stellar defense on Jokic, which took the pressure off AD and allowed him to focus more on the scoring. Obviously, having a go-to 3 pointer shooter in KCP was crucial as well. Basically, Bron and AD have to have other-worldly games from here on out to have any chance at winning this series.
Also lebron was younger. That's a bigger reason.

And they don’t have size… AD and Jaxson Hayes are your best size against Jokic. One can’t even guard. The other gets injured a lot of times. Jokic, MPJ, and Gordon is a big lineup. Also yeah Lakers have the worst bench.

Not one player can win a game alone but he can put his team in a position to win it with his play and leadership.
