doing my part 2 in Gateshead this week and your videos have been really useful. im not local but have driven in the area regularly , but your videos have given some local knowledge. thank you.
Thanks Tim for posting this video, I’d thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Although with it being 4 years since I’d passed my test with the brilliant Mr Halliman when he was with you know who!!! I still get nervous myself on roundabouts when I know I’m in wrong lane but tend sometimes to make mistakes or stay calm depends on amount of traffic around me and realise I’m in wrong lane on approach. I know Gary taught me well but after driving home from the galleries the other day down the A182 to get to the A194M I had to use all the roundabouts and sliproads to get there on one occasion, with me not knowing what lanes are for what by the back of my hand, I was in one lane for turning left and I wanted to go straight ahead, I’d kept calm but could feel the tension build up of knowing I’m in wrong lane I’d just kept checking mirrors etc and not making any rash movements and signalling in time although I did signal wrong once and moved wrong but apologised to driver behind by holding my hand up infront of rear view mirror. I do get anxious when I go on roads I’ve never been on before
