I’ve been getting so many requests for manga/anime characters drawn in my style. I don’t draw anime/manga characters in general because I didn’t have access to them growing up in the 1980s, and my knowledge of the genre is very limited.
However, I’m gonna go out of my comfort zone and draw an anime/manga character.
Please be patient with me as I muddle through this.
This drawing took me about 40 minutes in real time.

Really cool seeing your interpretation of such a usually stylized character. I also dig your commentary on these longer videos. If you're taking suggestions for future videos, I personally think it would be a lot of fun to see some characters from Liberty Meadows at some point.

The sailor fuku (セーラー服, sērā fuku) (lit. 'sailor outfit') is a common style of uniform worn by female middle school students, traditionally by high school students, and occasionally, elementary school students. It was introduced as a school uniform in 1920
Much like the male uniform, the gakuran, the sailor outfits bear a similarity to various military-styled naval uniforms. The uniform generally consists of a blouse attached with a sailor-style collar and a pleated skirt. There are seasonal variations for summer and winter; sleeve length and fabric are adjusted accordingly. A ribbon is tied in the front and laced through a loop attached to the blouse. The sailor uniform today is generally associated solely with both most middle schools and conservative high schools, since a majority of high schools have changed to more Western-style tartan skirts or blazers, similar to the Catholic school uniform.

iirc she's the princess of the moon and the other characters are basically her retinue/body guards. Sailor suit + Celestial body = their names, Sailor Moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus, Jupiter etc....yes, even Sailor Uranus.
I think the Jaw is to masculine. I am a fan but thats just my opinion, still I enjoy watching you sketch and most of the time you nail it! ❤

Nice to see you draw an anime character. Could you draw a character from the Resident Evil video games sometime? Would love to see your interpretation.
We’re probably about the same age. I got into manga and anime through Toonami. Dragonball, Gundam, so on. Some Manga artists are cool. Some not so much. Toriyama for instant. Kishimoto on Naruto is too. Some go way too stylized. But American comic artist do as well. Like Leifield lol.

To me this looks like a grown-up version of Sailor Moon. I always imagined her as a very thin teenage girl. Not that I'm complaining, mind you...

Instead of drawing a character from a shoujo series, you could have tried drawing a character from a shounen series. You probably would have had a lot more fun and an easier time drawing a character from One Piece, DragonBall, Naruto, Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist, or My Hero Academia.
It's still cool to see Sailor Moon in a Harley Quinn type style. She's beginner friendly for artists before drawing men with complicated clothing and muscles lol
How about a very obscure character from the Series SkySurfer Strike Force, Sliced Ice.
