Nearly Speechless.. DCS trailers used to be my prime example of gorgeous in-game trailer content. But with this, I'm sure creative community minds could outdo Eagle Dynamic's master pieces of in-game cinematic footage (no small feat). I have to admit that I am ignorant of the current workflow of Arma content creation, but from the looks of this and knowing the capabilities of Blender, the possibilities look limitless.

The foundation of the game looks amazing, and that's what comes before content. Once the bones of the game are there, modding with accelerate at an alarming rate and content will no longer be a concern. Can't wait to see this game a couple years from now.
That is an insane amount of flexibility, all available to the player to dabble with! I see now why BI took their sweat time creating this engine. This is light-years away from the Poseidon engine of old 😄

We already are, unless you play conflict which is fucking trashy shit, a player has to play god and place ai, the fact they didn't make invade and Annex a launch game mode shows they are gonna dump it on us to make the game survive, game is fucking dead In Australia have to connect to foreign servers and deal with heaps of lag, 30 second long freezes in gameplay enemies shoot through all concealment like it's isn't there not to mention the time to kill on air, 3 4 bullets, get fucked this project just looks like a slapped together Arma made for the console audience and it doesn't even run good, but it isn't even made for consoles bahaha

Unlike arma3 which recicled the same couple of cutscene animations for all the missions, I think that this tool will make the devs job easier (as well as the modders) to add more variety. I am by no means a blender expert, or an expert of any of this kind of things, but I can only imagine in experienced hands what could come out of this

It would be really nice to be able to record your inputs and play them back for videos, much like Theatre from Halo 3 and Reach but with the ability to save inputs for multiple entities so you can make a police chase for example with ease. Most of what I've seen here is great but as soon as I seen the sections at 10:10 and 16:34 where you had to play with all that code manually just to make a vehicle or character move my heart sank a little.
Arma 3 has a very easy-to-use function that has this exact behavior, BIS_fnc_unitCapture and BIS_fnc_unitPlay. It wouldn't surprise me if a Reforger equivalent is on its way soon.
Great work. Great engine. it can do great things, but the Arma Universe always lived from community content. All the scenario- and clancreators are waiting for tutorials how to use the new tools effectively! In first place Missionmaking, setting the mission frames/rules/basics. I think tools are too time consuming for 95% of the clan creators without any more basic tutorials. So don`t get me wrong, it is great to see how to do an amazing movie scene, but first we want to play the game, not only watch it. I hope you will offer some more basic tutorials how to create playable content. But as i sai, great work, it will become big.
I can see a lot of progressing things for Arma, but I don’t like how the fire looks. 13:13 - Example here. In my eyes, fire doesn't look natural, looks like from a children's cartoon. Even in Arma 3 fire looks better. When I say better, I mean the animation, dynamics, shape of the fire, but not its high resolution texture. I hope one day BIS improves fire vizualisation on enfusion engine.
