His ability with Magnus in a second city would be settler producing insanity- imagine City 2 has Diplo quarter/govt plaza and both magnus promotions while City 1 has Pingala, you buy settlers out of the capital while produce them out of the ancestral hall city
@@StayCoolKetoThe govorner Magnus has a promotion called Provision that makes it so the city doesn't lose a population when it makes a settler if he is established in that city (and has Provision)
@@jyutzler You could pick Magnus to chop then move them to a second city once their production is high enough to make settlers- I just think that two cities that can make 0 pop settlers could be game breaking since you would be able to expand effectively twice as fast
@@vesve Thanks for the reply. Yes, I just realised I read the OP wrong! I must have been super dyslexic mong mode this morning lol
"Let's get started!"
"But before that"
The plot thickens.
Honestly I love Sukritact's stuff so much. I legit can't imagine playing without his oceans mod anymore
Today, our favorite bear learns why Sukritact's mods are awesome. Strange things are afoot when the strategy is to let barbarian camps develop into city states, and then conquer them.
Russia becomes a bit annoying, but the waters of life gives our bear an advantage. Russia and Georgia rounds out the rivals, and planning for the future, our bear decides to worship the pantheon that is a favorite of Egypt. Strangely, a couple of barbarian clans have managed to acquire medieval units in the ancient era, opening up for an interesting opportunity for the bear of war. A barbarian horseman walks into a tavern, and the bar keeper asks it, why the long face? Will Bandar Brunei and Buenos Aires survive the bears expansion? Will Winneba win more and build the Etemenanki? The answer to these questions and more might not be answered in the next episode, but turn in anyway, same Ursa time, same Ursa channel!
That commercial you made for subbing was different from anything I expected and I was actually really impressed and enjoyed the laugh you gave me!
I just realised something interesting - settlers not costing a population point, while obviously a buff in its own right, also waters down the power of getting great people points when the capital grows, because for every pop it will take the capital longer to grow. It sews up a potential exploit of "train settler, grow capital cheaply, train settler, grow capital cheaply..."
£574 - Oson led the Fante people to what would become Mankessim in 1252. Legend has it that the Fante's chief fetish priest, Komfo Amona, planted a spear in the ground when they reached the location of the settlement. The spear is called the Akyin-Enyim, meaning "in front of the God of the University of Sankore". The place became the meeting place for the Fante elders and the head fetish priest when discussing important matters.
I always have bad luck with modded civs mixing with my QoL mods, but Sukritact has to be the best Civ modder there is
Sukritact is a legend! you would think his stuff is original civ with the quality he has
I love it when you showcase/play really good mods. Thus my excitement for this series is very, very high! :D
The only thing that keeps CIV 6 alive are the mods.. It's sad because they keep selling games and stuff only because of the free works of modders. Modders should receive a small % of money for their work.
Legend has it that the world of Ursa Ryan sprang from two primordial sources, ever-vigilant, ever-lasting, guarding the forces of good from giant crusty crabs:
Source of Being and Source of Horse.
Game aside, I've got to say the Crustus The Enraged sub ad is amazing.
I am loving the game too. One of those vids that ends too soon!
Already love Sukritact's UI mods. Can't wait to see some new leaders. And it's always fun to see you trying out a new Civ!
When setting up a match, I consider both barb clans and sukritacts oceans standard.
*So glad you are playing Orson at last! He is great fun to play with lol. Hope you try Ramkhamhaeng next! don't think you've played him yet!*
*Sukritact does fantastic work and is really good with graphics too! Make sure you check him out anyone who hasn't yet* 💪👍
When anticipating an early game war with Russia I always consider going God of Healing Pantheon for fun. It is so satisfying to use their own Lavras against them to heal my own troops even if their cities are not yet conquered.
Such a cool mix of abilities. This should be interesting
Haven't seen this civ but I've enjoyed all of the sukritact civs I've used before, got to try this one too. Nice little reeds and marshes start btw, always feels nice when you can get a few useful desert cities out of it
This series got me exited so ile stop the numbering of days hahahah
Lets goooooo new ursha series❤
@@UrsaRyan Huzzah indeed! Hopefully we will be able to save you from lord Crablingdon ~ Keep up the good work. Your Ludwig's series were amazing 💜
This looks like a pretty cool civ mod that is not crazy OP (Santa mod I am looking at you). Would love to see more mod stuff for civ 6 on your channel :)
I think you have no idea of how happy this video made me, I had a secret wish for you to play with some of Sukritact's modded Civs, specially with al-Andalus (well, I'm Portuguese and I love our past). Hope to see it!
Interesting Civ!
As a console player who covets what he can’t have, I’d love for you to use loads more Sukritact mods so I can live vicariously through you
Just blew my little mind. Had no idea there were modded civ characters available. Omg! Enraptured watching this video!!
I really like Robes Pierre, played him building as many wonders as I possibly could!
This one was an amazing start ngl, the sheer momentum gained is kinda nutty, and with all the near conquest/expansion, wouldnt be surprised if this ended up being a 3 parter series.
Talking about mods, have you considered doing some games with the BBG mod? Its a mod used by the CPL for their civ6 tournaments, that generally moves a lot of stuff around to make civ6 work better as a competitive multiplayer game, and i thought it might be interesting for you just due to the sheer amount of changes it makes, it almost feels like a different game sometimes. There are a lot of interesting parts, like a governors rebalance (For example, Liang has a promotion that increases the yields from all the tiles like floodplains that get periodical destruction, for some sweet floodplain gaming), general changes to civs/dedications, natural wonders that are much more impactful, etc. that i feel you might like exploring.
@@UrsaRyan Fair enough, hope it catches your interesting. One important note tho, BBG is sketchy with culture victories in single player, as a bunch of tourism numbers are cranked really high in the mod since in multiplayer (as multiplayer is very PvP centric) a lot of the common tourism multipliers like open borders or trade routes are unavailable (and thus, the buffs are needed to make the wincon viable). This can be fixed, ofc, by simply not using those multipliers while playing against ai
"An army of heathens have taken a city for the great Akan empire, which will be the first of many"
The unique armory feels like the royal library from civ 5 😂
Id love to see you play Al-Andalus
@@UrsaRyan It'd make my day, seeing as I live next to the Alhambra
Sukritact gets this game on the most fundamental level
If anyone's hesitating, def go for Sukritact's Oceans. One of the very best mods in the game. He does more than this, subscribe to his work and enjoy
Well, this is an intriguing Civ. Should be fun. Seems like it might be a bit power creeped. But that unique unit looks very strong.
My god dude...some of your jokes....HAVE YOU NO SHAME!!!???? I know you don't just someone had to say it at least once :) Please continue you silly bear😀
19:52 What is the mod that puts the value under the pinned District? For example, Science Campus 5.
His stats are insane
Have you ever played with the p0khiels better Pantheons Mod? It opens up some really cool possibilities, especially in combination with the Religion expanded mod. :)
Nice Mod
Civ VII will be out once you play all the modded historical civilizations (and the Elder Scrolls ones, probably).
Gedemo Charlemagne of germany is my favorite moded civ
it'd be nice if there was a mechanic to like "train" a Barb Horseman into the normal light cavalry promotion tree so it has some lasting value if it survives beyond its immediate usefulness. Maybe once you can build your own horsemen
🖖
Mega crabs will take over the world sooner than Ursa will make a T6 series
Been waiting for Ursa to cover more sukritact mods.... Also, Ursa, the video description says you're playing civ beyond earth? Silly youtube.
Can you Play the world war 2 mod?
Relieve world wars its called
Russia sacrificing its troops heads on into a city? That can't be true.
Why does the Unique Governor look like Jordan Peele? lol
I can't try it because I'm on playstation...and that makes me a Saaad panda
Algorithm 444
We need to see your attempts at drawing horses. Nothing funnier than a poorly drawn horse. Please?
Check out the community tab on his channel and you’ll see all his glorious drawings! 😊
Soo you pronouncing the nation wrong you trying so I would let it slide
WE STAN SUKRITACT
this mod is so much fun to play, and i'm very excited for you to play Iceland because I think that's my top 5 fav civ to play of all time, including regular civs~
I played the Iceland civ, Hadrian Rome, Siam, and Sumer rework recently. All fun and different. Also grabbed some of his natural wonder mods.
@@davidmoorcroft7117 Yeah the sumer rework is great too! I always refer to that rework when people ask what I would change in regards to Gilgabro
If Boes likes then I like! I saw Iceland, I'm mega tempted
Agreed. I have a few sukritact mods (some of the natural wonder ones) permanently on in all my games
@@shmojelfed9664oh I love some of those natural wonders.
We really do love modders lol
