In this episode we sat down with Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak.
Rishi opened up on why he wanted to become a politician and what life was like inside the government during the initial outbreak of COVID-19. He also talks about life outside of politics including his love for Star Wars.

@@ryzen983 all internet companies with global revenues of over 100m must pay extra taxes of 15% physical products or 30% on virtual goods and services eg adverts on revenue gained from the uk.
@@doug2279 That's not how these corporations operate. They keep the profits in hard assets which you cannot tax. For e.g let's say a company buys houses with the profits they make, you can't tax a house and take it away, that is literally impossible

Sometimes it's important to humanise politicians. You may not agree with this man's policies but be is a human being like the rest of us. He has interests, a family and friends. This was quite interesting and eye opening

Do you think it's very suspicious that he has a hedge fund for the same company that would be providing vaccine? We know in the bank sector there are laws which prevent you from buying stock due to inside trading.

@@arthurmorgan4942 No I do not consider him investing heavily in moderna particularly suspicious ; however I will say that he likely knew things that the public did not in order to benefit himself financially. Anyone can buy moderna stocks , so I don't see how inside trading regulations would be breached . If he used inside information to make money then that's irrelevant as that happens all the time . This is a positive thing . Him investing further enabled moderna to help save people .
