Seeing the first final boss made me realize just how much this series has grown - the graphics and the UI have changed so much! I’m so glad that I’ve been able to watch these games come into their own! :D
I like how DJ Octavio developed throughout the series. How he hated the Squid Sisters' theme songs that foiled his first two attempts, and how ironic it was for him of all people to be the one to play or broadcast that very same song he hated when he comes to save the day and help the player out in the third game's final battle loud and proud. It's like he embraced it as a song not just for Inklings but for everyone.

I'd be cool if they'd bring in more playable races in the game than just octolings or inklings, like add playable sharks or manta-ray's that would be called sharklings or mantalings, and make the enemies more than just Octolings add Sharks into the mix like I seen in fanart those people had really cool idea's for the game.

You know what would be a great final boss for splatoon 4? This: Mr Grizz and Commander Tartar team up and turn the NIHLS statue from Splatoon 2 into a giant robot, steal the great zapfish to power it, and then trudge toward inkopolis, hoping to destroy it Godzilla style. They are also accompanied by an army of octarians that are both fuzzy and sanitized following behind the robot. You have to chase down the giant robot using an upgraded superfast inkjet and fight through the army. Once you reach the statue, the inkjet is destroyed, forcing you to climb the robot (which is covered in traps, enemies, and foreign ink) on your own. then, on top of its head, you battle a robot inkling that has an arm that can transform into all sorts of different types of weapons. After destroying it, you're knocked off the top of the head and the robot is about to crush you under it's foot, but then all the sea creatures of inkopolis come out and start fighting the army as the calamari inkantion begins playing. The same sea creature energy that turned smallfry into hugefry at the end of Splatoon 3 then turns you into a giant equal in size to the Giant robot. You then wrestle it in a one-on-one fight, and finish it off using a giant Booyah bomb charged by the booyahs of all the denizens of Inkopolis that came out to fight the army in an epic finisher.

Things that are great about the Splatoon 1 final boss: it uses everything you have learned throughout the story mode like the invisible platforms, the geysers and the enemies, the fight gets more intense as it goes on Things that are lame about the Splatoon 2 final boss: it uses nearly nothing you have learned (I never saw the meatball geysers before), the platform is way too big so you can avoid nearly everything with ease, Callie does nothing Things I would change about the Splatoon 2 final boss: the platform gets smaller as the fight goes on, Callie summons enemies with her singing (when she doesn’t sing anymore they stop spawning), octavio can use pseudo splattershots and rollers because he made some with Callies help
