Can i ask why you didnt go with the Pro Reprogram kit? Ive had the tfod in my trans for about 6 7 years its drove well but ive never been completly happy. Been putting the pro reprogram kit in to replase the tfod took me two nights to do it. Man its alot different than the tfod will see full pressure in all forward gears and completly reworks pressure curve Will be another little while before i get transmission back in the truck. But am super excited to run it. What clutches do you recommend. I was thinking revmax I had a single converter put together with a triple stator to lower my stall alittle more than the normal 300 under I just planned to do the tourqe convertor now it seems im building a tranny and the tfod kit had to go. Your vids are great. Been watching alittle every night preparing to do the scarey tranny part
You did a great job brother. I know installing these valve body kits is no easy task.. I don’t blame you one bit for wanting to concentrate and not filming it. I just bought the A ton of upgrades for my trans, I bought the “pan off” trans upgrade kit from power driven diesel.. I’m installing it this weekend into my 47re. Includes a brand new custom built valve body setup for 500hp, also includes all new electronics, HD borg warner sol and HD transducer, also comes with the billet servo cover, billet accumulator, billet strut and billet anchor. I also bought the PPe deep sump pan with the filter block and Gonna run the better old school Filter for more flow. Also bought 150hp VCO injectors.. can’t wait. I currently have the edge JWA + Hot Unlock so she should get up and go once it’s all done.. still gotta be easy on the trans but I think it will handle it after the upgrades.. I was gonna buy a trans go shift kit instead of spending $650 on a new custom valve body but after watching many videos on the shift kit install process I said “the hell with that .. I’ll just spend the $650” lol I woulda still had to buy all new electronics anyways so it wasn’t really worth it for me so I just went with a new custom VB.
Good work, first timer as well, with that being said, was there an oil filter you didn’t add or was that done on purpose? Appreciate your hard work on making this video
@@ChadMyers73 if ur at 600hp u need to drill.out 2 holes where the transgo tells u not to for the 3dic converter and u need to drill out the hole bigger where the tuning plate goes.this will apply more pressure to the lockup clutch in the converter. Also u need to go 5 turns in on the line pressure. When you check.line pressure you need no less than 80psi.in drive and no less than 150psi in 4th gear lockup wide open. A 47re will not do 2nd gear lockup unless u modify the valve body.
Dude take a deep breath you can do this,i think it takes a lot of nerve to get in front of a camera and take that jigsaw puzzle apart and put it back together your doing fine.

The truck I put it in was a 6 speed truck. So I had to run a ant eater from fire punk and those are tune-able how ever you want your truck to shift
@ChadMyers73
The flaws are in the valve body seems it would still have the 47re traits

PS.. anyone ever tell you that you remind me of Chuck from street outlaws? Haha that’s a compliment by the way he’s a cool dude
PDD is a great company you got some quality parts I do appreciate you watching!
No I haven’t heard that one usually I get stone cold Steve Austin. LOL
I ground down the tv valve before watching this video and I don’t want manual. Will it be fine or do I need to buy a new one
I would probably buy new

Yes there is one filter in the valve body. Thanks for watching!
Good luck, you can do it !
Thanks man!
How much hp you going to push? I can help you with some tricks with the vb. Do u want 2nd gear lock up in manual 2nd and 4th to 3rd down shift lock?
My truck is 600ish now. I’m going to run a anteater from firepunk to control the trans

Basically it’s an electronically controlled 727 torque flight with a lockup converter.
👍🏻
What about the lower plate?
