Can a smaller person ride an xl board size kingfish? 55kg 5’8. What performance impact would you expect?

I’ve just bought one of these recently and it’s been great. But no matter how hard I try to avoid stones and rocks I come back with even more scratches than I had the time before. One if them is quite deep, will it affect the performance of the board and will I have to get it repaired?

If it's bad yes get it repaired. If you can't avoid the shells and rocks then I'd be heading to another beach.

OXS Enterprises so overall how would the performance differ on the water? And also do you use any resin in your boards? Thanks :)

More stiffness in carbon means more performance, less weight so a better performing board. You can't make anything from fibreglass or carbon without resin.
