Why husband did not just divorce place her in jail and forget about her.

Because it is just a story. It isn’t how people really act.

Other than the fact he was threatened if he did that? He would have been attacked either way.

He's a better man than me. My interaction with her would have been dropping off and picking up the kids and thats it. She was willing to destroy his life and his ability to see his kids. She did not deserve any compashion. Yes he should forgive her but only for his own peace of mind but not for her.

Can't believe the wife thought her husband would be fine with her open cheating for three years. It's shocking how naive she was. Let's hope such a scenario never occurs in real life!

....it....does. Well, something similar to it.
Visit strong successful male channel. Lots of IRL stories about wife/gf, with the occasional foolish husband/bf, asking for open relationship.
That being said, its always end in divorce.
Gf/wife asking for a break? Its a bye bye.

Oh but it does happen in real life. Cheating is probably the biggest reason over half of marriages end in divorce. And you know women..once it's established that they have the upper hand. They will throw it in your face!

Believed husband was weak and was seduced by APs appearance of absolute power and control. She was seduced by the opportunity to have absolute power over her own husband by proxy.

A shocking revelation from his wife turned Blake's seemingly perfect life upside down. Despite his successful career in aerospace, his world was thrown into turmoil by her affair. This story of unexpected betrayal and its impact on a seemingly contented life is both gripping and relatable.

The story needed some elaboration on why Blake was so lenient to Tracy after her arrest.
Also: it would have been great if Tracy narrated her side of the story. It's clear that women can easily come under the spell of men they spend a lot of time with, especially when they're high status. And that men severely underrate the risks associated with this weakness. But it would be cool to hear what Tracy was 'thinking' and feeling and experiencing.

Ending was unrealistic. Wife was going to continue her affair, put her husband in jail with charges that would destroy his reputation permanently, and the author conveniently left out any mention that she planned to have a child with another man. While everyone is entitled to forgiveness, no way husbands family bends over backwards to welcome her home.

In this story, after seeing Tracy's remorse and transition, and given their feelings, I (if it were me) would have given her another chance, unless I already had someone else in the wings waiting. BUT ... I would take it slow.
I think Tracy has realized her mistakes, AND the value of what she betrayed. But what good is that realization, and repentance, if there is no forgiveness and reconciliation.

The husband was a noble guy but strong - like a knight. He dealt with bad men as bad men should be dealt with - physically harshly, with brawn and intelligence, ultimately. He dealt with his flawed wife mostly by doing the right thing for the long term good of their children. The wife was a weak-minded woman, overawed by a man she mistakenly saw as an alpha - Driven by her hypergamy in part. Not evil so much as weak, short-sighted and clueless.

I can't scorn OP for his ability to forgive..He obviously is stronger in that capacity than most people including myself but to still trust her enough to eat her cooking (Breakfast) after all that she had done to him has to be approaching the level of insanity...There is just no way that would be allowed..And to show. Physical expressions of love despite her back stabbing him (hugging and embracing her while she crystal until the authorities come to take her to prison) .Really???!!! After the infidelity and then the false acquisitions whi h could have landed him in prison, there is No way that we ever touch again..I mean never touch me and I will never touch her in anyway.

They all should have received CONSIDERABLY longer prison sentences, so this was watered down drastically. Tracy should been given 7-10, and the others double than what they got. But more importantly, the husband should never have talked to Tracy ever again. What she did in the first place to have her boss try to destroy her husband, and then add to that the coverup lies, even though she was warned by the lawyer, was almost worse. For these reasons I would not recommend this story to anyone.
