The Winny Upload is making fun of Metallica and Napster. Apparently. Winny Upload was like the Japanese Napster but as they say it was already gone long before they made this song. I don't think any MtH lyrics should be taken seriously.

Classic MTH trolling their fans. They start out playing in a decrpit warehouse singing an anti government song and by the end they're on a kids show with more of a pop sound begging people to stop pirating their songs. The whole song is one big joke poking fun at other bands.

The band most influenced by MTH is Hanabie. Hanabie started in middle school as a MTH cover band. Yukina and Matsuri loved the band and hooked Hettsu into joining them. They play a show together soon.

Great reaction! One of their songs that is more serious and could use a lyric breakdown is Yoshū Fukushū.

winnie was a free upload site that caused many groups to lose sales so they put it at the end of the song, funny part was winnie web site was gone by the time of this release

This is essentially a troll song poking fun at bands that start out hard but soften their sound to appease record companies and radio stations. (Hence the violent shift in tone halfway through) On the Winnie upload part that was an eastern version of Napster and at the end when Nao is berating Daisuke she's saying why are we even protesting Winnie Upload? They've been gone for years. Then he points out the little girl that hadn't left yet, and makes a face at her. To which Nao says makes him look like his mother (picture inserted). A running joke with the band you'll see used again in VAP many years later and much more recent.
Just a little FYI as someone that's taken this roller coaster ride myself years before the "reaction" hoopla and ended up with MTH as one of my favorite bands. Buckle up because I've been listening to metal since the early 80s and I can't name a single _bad_ song from MTH, just some less liked ones.

This is why you need hanabie. They started our as a MTH cover band and decided they could be even more mental, and they further do our heads in by being cute as fuck.
I have done about 6 Hanabie reactions, I love them. I need to make a playlist for them. I need to check out their covers if MTH aswell! Any reccomend?
