Many of you asked me to do a video showing different patterns that can be used for filling gaps in a doodle. These can be used for filling gaps, decoration or just plain pattern doodling. I hope you find it helpful. Don't be limited to only these, experiment and create your own patterns. Good luck and have fun!

Keeping a chart like this is very helpful (I realized that after making this video :P). I suggest you make one for yourself and fill it with your favorite patterns :)

Thanks, it is always helpful to see different patterns and to keep a chart so when you aren't feeling creative you have a reference to get you going again!

oh my goodness never could i ever draw a SINGLE STRAIGHT LINE! Your doodles are so much more perfect then mine! Good job on this one its a little bit simpler then other videos but its still hard to get it perfect. my favorite type of perfect is perfect..... pic candle perfect!

These patterns are so cool. Some of them are simple, and some are a bit more complex, but it just shows that you can make some really interesting patterns using such simple shapes and lines. When you draw shapes and lines freehand they are almost perfect :O Your #23 reminds me of Nimbus from Dragonball Z.
