Was it only them? The Shia of Kufa betrayed the Imam yes, but the army that killed the Imam rejected his right to rule and him as a whole. They even ignored the fact that he is the grandson of the prophet. Those are not shia, much less Muslims

Where were the sahabas ? Why didn't they support the grandson of Rasulullah? Why did imam hussain a.s didn't feel safe in the city of medina and makkah ? Were there not the companions present? U see before u attack others , see what the peoples of makkah and medina did . Also one more point to add , ofcourse in kufa shia were there but there also resided other Muslims who were not shia. So it's wrong to say shias killed him . Shia means followers do u expect us to belive that the TRUE SHIAS ( FOLLOWERS ) of imam hussain a.s killed him ? The truth is the ones who supported the imam a.s and died with him were THE TRUE SHIAS ( FOLLOWERS ) .
