So far I am getting stomped using Heihachi, but I love his design and moves so much, I will keep learning him and become better. Your guides help a lot
I'm loving Heihachi right now. Hard for me to get used to cos I'm not a Mishima guy (apart from Reina) having fun learning his tools though n it's sooo satisfying when I eventually hit an electric lol
I feel you I've never been a fan of any of the mishimas maybe jin but short lived. I'm actually putting in work wanting to learn hachi, not even because of the hype, I just like how he plays
@@treyork1684 yer his moveset looks like he's breaking bones with attacks like b4 n that I love it. It will do me good to play a more defensive style aswell after spending so much time just blitzing people with azucena lol
it’s actually good that hei is the first mishima you’re really learning cause frankly i think his mishima fundamentals are so important cause he really focuses on his perfect electric to maintain spacing so he will force you to learn mishima fundamentals which is so important to know.
@@kevinstone5236 well I did take Reina up to ruler ranks and I got quite good at electrics especially dashing into the war god kick on floored opps (I think that's what it's called). It was a while ago though and I've definitely lost my touch lol
tbh gotta sidestep right more and most auto pilot jins will lose to that by itself. sidestep right and then do your character's fastest launcher when he whiffs. if your reflexes arent that good use your character's 13 or 14 frame punisher after successful sidesteps.
f+1+2 has less range than the 13f options, so there will be situations where they are more reliable (against Bryan's df+2,3 for example) Also, at the wall, the follow-up gets extra scalling, which makes your wall combo less damaging, so punishin -13 with df+4,2 ends up being better. In the open, if f+1+2 reaches, then it's probably really good since you can potentially launch with f,f+1+2 during heat.
You can actually use your 1+2 bind for the last sequence. Df3 1+2 qcf1+2. That makes it easier for me, i also practiced by doing the df3 1+2 part alot of times. You start the second part on the 3rd hit.
@@austingoyne3039 like which strength? Like over tuned mid and pressure but weak low? what so different now? I'm pretty he has better low and better pressure in 8, with the addition of other new strengths.
Can I theoretically launch with a follow-up EWGF at f+1+2 stun? My reaction speed is not fast enough to experiment with it 🫠 edit: never mind, it seems the opponent becomes crouching

The way my eyes widened after seeing that punish for Leo's stance setup. Absolutely insane and will be using, thanks my guy

Same, the skill ceiling is very high but when you get the execution down it's very rewarding. Heihachi is insanely fun.
I would love another video like this with different characters and attacks against Hachi
soo cool to include character specific punishment
Devil Jin: WE SKEET AGAIN!!!
Heihachi: UR A SHADOW!!!
thx bro
top tier editing my dude
Very nice dude! Need a Heihachi vs Jin guide. Can’t punish auto pilot Jin for nothing 😅😅

Awesome, thank you!
03:25 so satisfying
thanks for this brother
For block punishment, wouldn't it just be better to always do F1+2 from 12f up to 15?
range is crap
@@tiger-rgn I know that's why I said block punishment (aside from punishing large pushback moves like Paul's Deathfist)

@@justApplay alright. Thanks for the tips!
Heihachi is soo good rn omg my arsenal is complete
whats the background music?
thank you

Any tips on getting the blue spark Gokotai Rampage Down? I dont understand the timing
Don't spam the 1+2 part, then wait until around the last punch and then input qcf+1

Amazing video… what’s the soundtrack name?
Song is Side Winder from Tekken 6
@@justApplay arigato 🥰
if you're going to the effort of making a vid like this, include the frame data on hit as well.
brother idc about how to punish with heihachi, i wanna know how to punish him instead
crazy that he has a 12f launcher in warrior state
its honestly super dumb
13f- It's not crazy, it's just stupid.
@@Just_a_niceguy no, 12f. Chrome dome is 12 frames and guarantees df+2,1 for a full combo. Deals 98 damage maximum from what I labbed
And heat, Chrome Dome goes into f,f+1+2
@@Nikita-ze8ii thats wild lol Heihachi eats good.
感謝🎉
3:27 New Deathfist wins
d3 evades moves now?
It had some evasion in Tekken 7 as well, but a lot more niche than his old db+1+2.
Doesn't DF 2,1 tornado in heat too?
Nope. Only in warrior instinct.
Weird. Wasn't there a reply to your question?
Someone had replied it was only in Warrior Instinct
@@justApplay Uhmmm... I'm pretty sure that was me replying to the comment. Did youtube delete my comment?? Why??
I thought this was the video on how to beat him. Not how im going to lose to him..
Damn. I guess this is my fault for forgetting to change the text on the thumbnail to "Punishers" like I did for the title, my bad.
They gave him a 15f ws launcher? Not a big fan of removing character weaknesses that existed for decades.
they gave him one since tekken 7 though, i think they should at least make it weaker by it being an instant tornado
Hes a completely different character now he doesnt just df1,1 forwver
@@tiger-rgn he didn't have it when tekken 7 launched tho
They removed other strengths. Now his strength is punishment.
@@austingoyne3039 like which strength? Like over tuned mid and pressure but weak low? what so different now? I'm pretty he has better low and better pressure in 8, with the addition of other new strengths.
where tf is the frame info my guy
I kinda dont like the new style
What do you miss from the previous style?

edit: never mind, it seems the opponent becomes crouching
Yeah, not possible because they are in a crouching state.
