I’m 62 and way past those days where I accept ANY dare but when I was a teenager I accepted many dares. It’s truly a miracle I’m alive. I was pulled out by a rip tide and almost drowned, trampled by a horse after accepting a dare to ride double bareback with a crazy person, as well as a few other dares. Yup, lost the desire to accept any dare many years ago.
YEP!! Here's an 80's dare for ya!! I live east of Cleveland Ohio in Lake County & one regular day of us teens swimming at a local beach, we were all sitting there just looking out on the water when 1 of us says " I dare 1 of you to go get that stick WAAAAAAY out there & bring it back!!" I threw up my hand and jumped right up!! "I WILL!!" I yelled and proceeded to the water. Well, it took almost 2 hours and it was almost dark but I got it!!" As we got older and did some figuring we were all in agreement it was almost a mile or more out there!! It took longer to get back carrying a much bigger than it looked stick thru the water. The only thing that really kept me calm was "THINKING" there wasn't anything big enough to hurt me. HAHAHAHA!!! I was VERY wrong!! Growing up & knowing what I know now!! I don't let my kid in Lake Erie AT ALL!! HECK!! When you grow up on this lake, you kinda just think of it as a big pond!! There's even a spot on Rt84 in the winter on a clear day that you can see Canada!! All I know is that had to be one of the STUPIDEST things I have EVER done!!! I shouldn't be alive!! There are fish in there MUCH bigger than me. Surprised a catfish 6 feet long didn't try to eat me!! I'd have lost!! Oh the things we do when we don't realize all the different outcomes!! YOUTH!!!
DRUGS. ARE. REALLY. EXPENSIVE. WHY DID THEY TAKE HIS SHIRT!!! HE IS LETTING EVERYONE KNOW TO THINK TWICE BEFORE TRYING ANY DRUGS, BECAUSE IT CAN BE A FINANCIAL BURDEN!!!
A couple of years ago, 3 kids were driving home after being out riding around. They were like 16-19 or something. The driver reached into his console and pulled out a gun he had bought from another buddy. His friends were freaking out. "What are you doing!?! Why do you have a gun?!? Put it away, OMG!!!" The driver just laughed and said, "Relax! It's not loaded! See?" And he pointed it at his head and pulled the trigger. It was loaded. Can you imagine driving down the road when the driver grabs a gun and shoots himself? The kid never even knew how stupid he was... He died instantly.
if someone dared me to swim across the lake I would be like 'HELL NO' I would do it if it wasn't a dare i am a strong swimmer I would rather swim in the sea than a lake, that poor guy he needed to find better friends. Also when jumping from a high place into the water please wear a life jacket guys!!!
The deaths are bad enough but I couldn’t imagine being on the other end and having to live the rest of my life knowing I dared someone to their deaths.😑
If the gecko was alive when he ate it. The gecko probably tried to chew his way out of the guys stomach. Causing infection. The explosion from a grenade isn't what kills you it's the shrapnel that does.
The online dares should be illegal and if someone dies who ever posted it should be tried for murder. If any of my little girls ever try an online dare and something happens I will go after that person and never stop. Ppl put those dares online knowing kids watch that shit! When they know that and know that a child could be killed or seriously hurt and post it anyway, there is no difference if they were there in person. Its murder to me.
When my son was drowning 3 of his friends nearly died themselves trying to save him. The last one to give up was the only girl there. Now that's what you call friends. And no they never managed to save him, he got caught in an underwater whirlpool
