- My 1 year old Rottweiler Rebel. She's been watching this young rabbit for a few days. Just sits and stares at the corner, waiting for it to come back. Today it finally was out there when Rebel went out and she decides to try and catch it.

My pit bull he's a few months old and he smelled the rabbits sent and went stelth mode he pounced on it bitting his/her leg but the bunny got away without injuries
The rabbit was too quick. Has she caught rabbits before? At the end of the day it’s instinct and NOT her or any other dogs fault. Not all dogs chase to finally consume perhaps. BUT BUT SURELY there’s STILL some prey drive in all of them ESPECIALLY if they are hungry, SURELY instinct will kick in unless there’s the odd exception as maybe the odd one might be too docile to even bother including the odd Rottweiler I’ve heard of who sees rabbits and other small potential prey and makes NO attempt to chase when she could so EASILY chase in an attempt to catch. This female Rottweiler DIDN’T even touch a butterfly, sniffed it, COMPLETELY left it and she watched it fly away when she COULD have easily consumed it but no she didn’t care. Perhaps over HUNDREDS of years breeding, a few dogs MIGHT have lost most of their prey drive and become docile. Well stranger things happen.
She's never caught a rabbit. My Jack Russell ended up catching this one.

Well, the Rottie didn't catch it. But, the next day my Jack Russell Terrier caught it and made it scream. Sorry I didn't get that on video for you.

I hate dogs but they still should be treated well and I would never let a dog die. But dogs are the most popular pet. I get why people love dogs. I don’t, don’t love them I just think dogs should start to evolve in a way that they are better and smarter than humans. I’m not saying they aren’t smart I’m saying they could be smarter

How can ANYONE dislike dogs. Ok I used to be scared of the as an infant BUT BUT I’ve NEVER disliked them. In fact as an infant I’d observe dog behaviour, very interested and I’ve done a lot in animal husbandry for years including assisting in kennels.
