My dear brother, the tools that help us to connect to gurbani do not matter, it is not possible to do beadbi of gurbani by singing it using any instrument. All that matters is whether it helps your soul to connect to gurbani. Gurbani is not limited to instruments. (Also, a guitar is played in exactly the same way as the rabab as it is also plucked anyway. It is one of the closest modern instruments to the rabab).
Guru Arjan Dev Ji said - God never in the slightest degree spoileth a good act. These brothers and sisters do so much for the Panth, especially youths like me, who were lost and now have come back to Sikhi - because of gursikhs like Bhai Baljit Singh. Remember, it's the intention, and here all all they're trying to do is help us connect with Waheguru
