None of the videos actually explain what happened to him. They only explain why the govt stopped the IPO. There are too many comments parroting the same stuff. It looks like intelligent bots. (As if the bots are using GPT-1).
Also, their reasoning is flawed.
Why would the govt. stop the IPO if they were worried about over-leveraging? They should instead have passed laws against highly leveraged borrowing. IPOs happen after the company has become large enough... which means that whatever risk they are talking about, has already reached a late stage.
And they don't mention anything about where he is, why he hasn't shown himself etc.

This video missed the critical element of explaining what Ant was trying to do. Basically Ant was going to push out a financial product that might bankrupted the Chinese economy similarly what happened to 2008 the Financial Crisis, so the government put a stop to it, preventing Ant from going onto IPO.

You say that as if the US didn't become the strongest country in the world because it produced many of the greatest corporations.
Most of the people you see complaints related to, are the people who didn't get educated or decided to learn something useless... You do have to figure out how you're going to give value to the world - in return for what you want to take from the world.
Anyway, there is a balance to things. Government can only contribute so much to the leadership of a country, and Jack Ma has been a good leader with good principles.
Regulations being outdated and limiting progress is a normal problem and worth complaining about.
Unfortunately, politicians in power too often become focused on their own power and priorities, rather than what is healthy for the system going into the future.
The path of government dominance is better suited to a world where you largely know what needs to be done, and not one where you need to innovate
Not that the Chinese government isn't contributing to progress in China - but it can mostly only contribute to obvious paths of progress where others have already shown what path is worth following.
But China isn't going to be behind and able to copy for very much longer. So its systems and form of leadership need to start changing towards more organic and adaptive approaches to progress.
... Which might have happened naturally, but Trump managed to mess up Chinese culture by attacking them, and some of their positive attitude has been damaged... People want to feel more under control and go into more of an "us vs them" mindset when they feel under threat. Which also applies to the Chinese government.

In China, the policy is controlled by government but in Western countries it’s controlled by rich people. China believes the government represents people while western countries believe Capitalism which puts money first. In the end, China’s policy is power first, money second and people third. While western countries are always money first, power second and then people. As you can see, if we are just ordinary people there is almost no differences between two different policies. Now you know China will never allow individual capitalist takes over the country’s policy as it against China’s true policy. And also, China believes Capitalists only work for the benefits of individuals while government works for the benefits of all of the people. Jack ma was a teacher turned billionaire but he forgot chinas history, CCP has uplifted china from nothing to prosperous enviable country that it is today. Its CCPs authoritative style of keeping "communal benefit">> "individual capital benefit" is what made it possible to eradicate poverty and upgrading common lives. The capitalistic power of an individual can automate poor peoples jobs with robots without considering the consequences in a blink. CCP wont let it happen. Money can be printed like nothing but human life suffering of the poors and the greed of billionaires has no limits. Rich can eat the poor in the name of fulfilling their "paper money" ambitions or getting famous ambitions. There has to be a balance.
I admire Jack Ma's vision and his work, but even I feel uncomfortable with how dominant his Alibaba and ANT in China's fintech, and how loose Ma run those two companies, especially ANT which dominate China fintech with few regulations that bind it, unlike the traditional banking. If traditional banking were run like ANT with very few regulations controlling it, then it is a disaster waiting to happen, not unlike Lehman Brothers. It is only great until it crash.
