Good afternoon sorry for the late reply, yes so many hotels are close enough but no noise. Chaweng Regent, Buri Rasa, Mercure, Al's Resort , Chaweng Cove, Samui Restole
"Prices change hourly"? Boy, that's one sophisticated pricing algorithm. Who do they think they are? Air Canada [they raised my one way ticket prices by $800USD).

Lamai or Chaweng for Loy Krathong? What do you suggest?
Chaweng Lake side has the best time for Loy Krathong. They have a few stages for performances, bands and a beauty contest! So many food vendors and the best part so many people buying the floating baskets they try to make the lake light up!
There's games, many shopping tents . I don't think I seen a bigger festival here on Samui.
