@@ralfburon6179 He had a hip replacement and took a year and a half or so to recover and rehab. The last few comps he competed in prior to the surgery watching him just pained me. It had to be brutal on him. He's back to competing in smaller comps at the moment. He said in one of Loz's videos that he doesn't want to get back to competing for a living. He looked better in the training vids than I expected, honestly.

Do I think Rauno will ever be WSM? No. He's important for the sport though. Whether you win or no in strongman should mean less that what type of competitor you are/were. The personalities in this sport are more important than the sport itself imo. No sport on the planet shows how much humans are alike. (I am nothing close to a strongman, don't care to be, and I would be fucked on all events due to height.....and never training,.....and no drive... =O
