- "Interstellar এর যেসব ডিটেইলস কেউ বলেনি | Science Fiction Movie Explanation" in this video we are going to analyze Docking Scene from Chirstopher Nolan’s mind bending science fiction blockbuster film Interstellar.
Interstellar offers everything you expect from an ideal SciFi Movie. Newtonian Physics, Relativity, Time Travel, Space Exploration, Wormhole, Blackhole, Artificial Intelligence, Human Psychology, Love and most importantly Survival of the Human Species. Interstellar is the most scientifically accurate movie ever and it's not possible to deep dive into everything in one content. Instead of Interstellar movie review which has been done like a billion times, in this video we are going to analyze one particular scene and the physics behind it. (Docking Scene-Interstellar)
Summary:
NASA sent 12 astronaut to 12 different planets in order to find a habitable one in which human species can live. After spending so many years in isolation, one of the astronauts Dr. Mann is now psychologically broken. His survival instinct kicked in. He betrayed his crewmates, ditched mission objectives and tried to Dock into the space station Endurance and take command of it. Cooper and Dr. Brand was warning him, “Do not attempt docking, Do not open the inner hatch, if you open the hatch the airlock will depressurized.” Dr. Mann ignored all of that and locked his spaceship imperfectly. And guess what? He blew up his spaceship in attempt of docking. The explosion set the station in a ferocious rotation. Everything they need to survive here is in that space station ‘Endurance.’ Cooper immediately starts chasing Endurance. Commands case to analyze the rotation (68 RPM) of it. The impact of the explosion began to push Endurance downward. As it was declining in it's altitude, it began to heat up. Just when it was about to hit stratosphere. Cooper with the help of Case and Tars cold bloodedly tackled the situation by matching their spin, velocity and axis of rotation. Cooper and Dr Brand went through insane amount of G force due to the spin. Dr Brand blacked out for a few moments. Slowly but surely Cooper was able to Dock successfully and pushed the system out of orbit.
Things to take note of:
1. Orbit, Orbital Velocity
2. Escape Velocity.
3. Stratoshpere, Mesosphere.
4. Air gets denser as you go deeper into an atmoshpere.
5. More friction means more heat.
6. Space stations have no heat sheild.
7. You will feel G force if you travelling in a cuved path.
8. It is really difficult for a human to go through extreme amount G force.
9. Traditional Docking procedure.
10. Engineers are problem solvers.

One thing you could've added in the explanation.
While they have used retro thurster at that time Cooper was still tolerating the G force while Dr. Brand was passed out. It was because her head was lying on the side of the spinning direction and Cooper's one was at the opposite side of the rotation. That is how actually people can resist the G force in moment of rotation.
This was only to share with the comment panels people. Its I think "Nice to know" sorts of thing.

I think a small correction is needed at 9:00 because centrifugal force is a pseudo force, it doesn't really exist. An object in uniform circular motion feels an outward motion because of it's inertia, not because of a force. The only force acting on the object is centripetal force. It should be remembered that Newtonian laws of motion is not applicable in a non-inertial reference frame (like the system which is in circular motion), Rather if we want to apply newtonian laws we have to take a outside observer as an inertial reference frame to examine the motion of a rotating system.
