Also fun fact, in some old korean folklore, instead of a "once upon a time" they start it with "back when tigers used to smoke". that's what Yujin was portraying at the start of the vid. And saying "let's get it, look at it, pay attention" like she's about to tell the tale.

This concept is actually fire, I love listening to folk tales, and this m/v was definitely one of the prettier ones.
I love the song and how they're using their voices, their vocals are shining.
I saw some people criticizing the choreo, saying it's too "messy" but I kinda like it.
If I'm correct, the dance was inspired by the traditional moves as well, + they're portraying a tiger, so.

해야 (Haeya) means "Sun" or "(calling) sun!"
HEYA is based on an original folktale IVE created.
"a tiger who loves the sun"
tells the story of a tiger who is off on a search for the sun, who is hidden in the darkness, metaphorized by IVE
in the opening of the song yujin was holding a pipe and there's a smoke coming out of rei's mouth...
in Korean folk tales instead of “once upon a time” they’d sometimes use “back when tigers used to smoke”
** the idea came from a Korean folktale titled "해와 달이 된 오누이/sun&moon siblings"
