Well you shouldn’t ever mould or change yourself for someone else, there’s a difference from “learning” and just being able to see other people’s point of views and have sympathy if that’s what you meant unless you think people should “learn” to prefer your views over their own in a relationship. There are many women who grew up in traditional households because that is their culture. Not everyone wants a 50/50 household and that's okay. Let's stop shaming ppl for their standards. Just find someone whose standards you do meet
It only becomes a problem when *paradoxical claims* are made
For instance, her strong claim that men are women are equal, but men are *inherently* the head of the household.
Like what sort of bullshit is that😂
How are they equal, if you’re assuming a power imbalance🤣
@@CraigBukenya the term head of household is not as paradoxical as you think it is. Real heads of households still revere their wives and value their thought, opinions as well as the work they do in the home. Hate to break it to you but the term itself only holds weight when it's time to do taxes as it just means you are the primary income of the household
that part!!!!
Testosterone is very low in Western Society, so you won't find a lot of men wanting those relationships. I feel bad for wives who have a day job yet end up doing a majority of the housework anyway cause the guy is unable/unwilling.
very interesting video really, half way through you'd say that the girl had quite conservative views of relationships/gender/marriage etc, even slightly religious, and the guy was progressive enough to talk about his views of equality in the same areas and not religious at all. I was pretty stunned when a minute later she's a staunch labour voter and he's a tory voter!
She is going to find it difficult to find a nice guy. Rigidity in her beliefs will only serve to harm her long term.
"I'm not materialistic" she says when she's never paid for a date. Lol ok
“I think men are scary” something tells me she goes for a certain typa guy lol
He hit the nail on the head from the start when they talked about politics or she brought it up he said that everybody's going to have their opinions and you know you can't change someone opinion necessarily so he just lets it be and keeps it moving on but she wanted to dig in and keep talking about it and that was one of her major reasons for not being with someone
"I don't go on dates because men are creepy".. "I've never paid for date". She's horrible
Equal goes both ways. So many people don't understand that.
Her views are dumb af lol
Well they're more traditional, there's a lot of people who are leaning to the traditional side of things I think 🤷♀️
Actually when it came to the political part, he became a typical tory. Can't answer questions that need facing.
Read the "Therodore Dalrymple" books
can't answer, or didn't want to?
No wonder this girl is single. Wouldn’t get past the first date. The questions wow
I would date him in a heartbeat. Men who are open minded and easy to talk to are wonderful. I'm surprised he's a tory, yet she's more conservative than him 😆
the way he said “huh” idk it’s funny 😂😂 he cute tho
This woman kills me she contradicted herself to much here 😂 he seems like a solid down to earth guy
The premisse of this show seems to be "Lets watch what happens when 2 clearly incompatible people are set up!"
Tiana mate, I really hope you find someone that doesn’t mind paying for you for the rest of their lives. Absolutely scandalous way to think about an “equal relationship”, honestly had to stop myself from leaving a really horrible comment. This wound me up so much.
You literally don't know this woman at all and had to 'stop yourself from leaving a really horrible comment'... Mate, log off.
She is awful, yes. But I want to say: he is very decent and polite.
If the other person boy or girl expects you to pay and doesn't come prepared to pay that's a red flag. Now if the date is your idea you should pay if it's theirs they should but always be prepared
"I don't believe in religion"
*2 minutes later*
"I can't go on the second date, you have to be Christian"
😂😂🤣🤣
Why would any woman want to be looked after like that? I really love the fact that feminism is evolving and women get more and more independent every day but the fact that there are women out there who wanna get treated like they live in the 60s gets me really upset
So you don't understand feminism at all then, because it's about a woman's choice, not YOUR choice for her. 🥴
@@normajeane507 I think feminism is about women getting more and more independent. This woman doesn't want to be independent, she wants her boyfriend to fully take care of her so she can never pay. That's not what we humans call independent
@@kostasskoulidas6549 Not everyone wants to be 'independent' meaning just paying their own bills lmao, that's not up to you to decide for them. If someone wants to be taken care of, and a man wants to take care, fair play to them. Think you need to log off and re-evaluate your life.
@@normajeane507 I am not saying that I should decide for her, I am just saying my opinion. Women wanted to be treated like that back in the 60s not in 2021. Instead of going forward she is making steps backwards and I am saying that's wrong for women generally cause it seperates men and women by giving them different roles in the family. "the man takes care of the woman and the woman takes care of the children". I am just saying my opinion, its the same thing for someone being racist and me saying that racism takes us back and that this man shouldn't be racist. If that was the case then you would not say "he should make his own choice" cause you would be in my side. Or you would support that the man should not be bothered cause he should make his own mind even though he is racist? 🤔
@@kostasskoulidas6549 No, women didn't want to be treated like that, they were forced to because they didn't have a CHOICE to a choose a career instead. It's about CHOICE. I don't think you have the mental capacity to grasp that.
She is such a red flag 🤢
not wanting to date someone because of their political beliefs is valid! i think there’s a lot of privilege in “avoiding politics” because you think it doesn’t directly affect you
Perhaps, it could say a lot more about you as a person if you let something that is intentionally divisive as politics get between you and a spouse.
@@lavolpe8525 politics usually goes hand in hand with peoples morality ie me as a leftist thinks kids should eat in half term tories don't, so why would I date someone who doesn't mind when kids starve?
@@georgejoy7635 You have just shown a perfect example of an out of touch person if you think Tory voters vote Tory to take food out of Children's mouths.
@@lavolpe8525 I don't care about why people vote for the Tories (ie what they think the Tories will do) I care about the actions of the Tories once in power. People know the Tories do these things they have been for decades yet people still vote for them. @@georgejoy7635 A right winger could say "Left wingers don't care about when these poor girls are molested by people from oversee's, maybe the do a little but they don't seem to when a girl comes forward about it unless the fellas white". two people talking past each other full of assumptions.
what a bad match !! run !! run my dude !!
The way he says “HUH?” kills me hahaha
I love him so much and I love her relationship with god, so sweet and genuine - love from Jeddah
she was a bit too pushy by the end of the video
He answered every question the exact way i would of 🤣. I mean who wants to talk about bloody politics with someone on a date especially! That shit always ends up with a fat argument
She's full of red flags
She poorly articulated herself, nerves perhaps. Certainly not my cup of tea.
He seemed like a genuine lad I'd love to have a beer with
I met women who almost felt offended when I offered to pay. When I was younger, it was never a question. These days you can't be sure at all. So I am definitely with the guy on this.
from what I can see from this video, she wants equality, when it suits her. when its advantageous to her, then equality is good but when its not (e.g. like when it comes time to pay the bill on a date) then shes totally fine with inequality... which is honestly how i expect most women to think
Lmao
Him: I’m not materialistic. I would rather take a trip with my friends and make memories than have a $500 coat
Her: yeah i wouldn’t say I’m extremely materialistic either. I would rather take a trip to Bali than have a $500 coat. It’s just the way I am.
Dying at his face 😂 he was mad cool. She was doing too much.
i fw dis guy bruh "HUH" LOOOLOLOL
She basically wants a sugar dadyy..wants all the positives of equality and none of the negatives
Maybe I am wrong but he seems to be relieved that she didn´t want another date with him.
This is actually ,,wow after wow
He's too chill and softly spoken for her, she's too cool and pretty for him.
The experience over material things is EXACTLY what I've been trying to tell my friends... This is a solid bloke over all.
She prefers traditional gender roles, just not what is popular these days. I know from experience.
They want gender equality, then this is the full package presented.
I agree pay on first. Split on rest. Equality
We should be equal but we're not identical.
I like sis! keep doing you! the young man can have his own opinions as well, to each his/her own.
I really liked both of them. I think it’s time for him to grow up.
Wait what! Didn’t you read the comments? He’s The one that was very respectful.
Look at the mandem trying to be polite by saying he'd want to see her again lolz 😆😜
he was trying to be so nice by saying yes lol
♫ I ain't sayin she's a gold digger, but she ain't messing with no broke ♫
🤣🤣🤣
She’s the typical London girl thinks the man needs to pay and women can’t pay
She’s very close minded, just because your opinion is different to someone else’s it doesn’t mean that theirs is wrong. If he doesn’t wanna share his views in a particular topic it doesn’t mean that he is ashamed either, he doesn’t have to put everything about himself out there if he doesn’t want to.
THE LAW OF DEMASCUS : We are humans and We shouldn’t base our views on gender sooo speaking on that Men or Women should pay or go half and half . You shouldn’t determine someone based on them paying or not paying it’s all about character
So this woman doesn't believe in equality? What's the world been working for?
People have always had different ideas of what equality means in their personal lives.
Beliving in equality in front of the court doesn't necessarily mean you don't believe follow traditional gender roles.
No rational woman believes in equality because we get stuck with the baby. If you split the bill 50-50, you end up doing 75% of the labour when you move in, do the 1950s housewife job on top of your career, the childcare, according to studies, then split the bill. Feminism wasn't the choice of most women. Women were sadly raised to be nice by their fathers and got walked all over by feminist bullies as a result when they should have been taught how to assert themselves without losing femininity.
@@Juniperus_Godegara Except traditional gender roles influence equality in all aspects of society including the law. That's why men are sentenced harsher, because they are sterotypes as aggressive
Facts or undeniable major truth?...if you want to get the results you want from dating. Then the whole point is to be honest.
More of a deniable minor truth kinda guy myself like. Then again your facts don't care about my fact... s.
I'll see myself out.
Good series please do more
I don’t understand the paying on the first date thing and why it’s such a topic of conversation. Like if someone pays to take me out it’s really nice but I don’t see the problem with women offering to split or pay the tip or shit pay the entire bill. Who cares? I normally don’t go into a date thinking I’m not paying anything for this. Now if they don’t offer to pay anything at all that might turn me off especially if they asked me out but honestly I think the idea who asks who to go out should pay is a good rule of thumb. Fuck the gender role thing.
The one who proposed the date pays for the date. thats most fair.
this dude saying huh every time is cracking me up lmaoo
Men run away from this type of mentality, ladies don’t be like this we can see it a mile away
He didn't, a short no! would be the only acceptable answer after this dumpster fire of a woman opened her mouth.
Lol, she just proved his point about not really wanting to discuss poilitics.
He was relieved when she said no
need to be honest here i paid for every meal, every hotel and even hired a white horse and wore a football top of my enemies "celtic still hurts to this day" and asked her to marry me. True love should never be a cost on it either way
This expectation to be taken care off thing like they are some kind of helpless adult just puts me off. There were a couple red flags with this chick.
4:07 oh no of course mans went so posh ahah
I dont think she understands partnership has to have effort from both sides. And paying is one of them, but it shouldn't be more than the other
All she wanted to do was disagree with everything he said
Guy's completely reactive. Decide what you want from a lady bro.
Every single one of his attitudes is the DIRECT OPPOSITE of every single man in his family up until now. It's amazing what post-war social engineering has achieved.
These comments being soo judgmental to the woman lol isn't it the whole point if this video...being honest about your views. If her views r not compatible with the guy, then should she lie about how she actually thinks. Some people have different beliefs and opinions and not everyone is the same. Personally, I feel like she was closeminded but I'm not perfect myself so I'm not the one to judge. This discussion was to be upfront about things that's not normally discussed on the first date, where ppl r just trying to make a good impression. Both r upfront and honest about how they view the world and some ppl don't change and don't want to be open minded. There s no point wanting to change someone if they don't want to be changed. This is y ppl r not honest with each other about how they actually feel as they know they will be scrutinised from other ppl. The two of them had clashing beliefs but its a nice concept. It's interesting to see how colliding beliefs interact in the real world
I have to be with someone who is a christian (I'm not religious) and values marriage (has money) and agrees with me politically (small minded). She's not willing to learn or mould herself for anything or anyone. Good Luck.
Well you shouldn’t ever mould or change yourself for someone else, there’s a difference from “learning” and just being able to see other people’s point of views and have sympathy if that’s what you meant unless you think people should “learn” to prefer your views over their own in a relationship. Idk if that’s what you meant but kinda how it reads.
So would you consider marrying someone who doesn't share your values or beliefs? Maybe you should look up the statistics on how many of those marriages are successful. She did explain what she meant about religion, but it seems you chose to misunderstand her.
@@sixteencandles6 You should look at the statistics for failed marriages in general. Would i date someone who has a different religion to me, yes. would i date someone from a different upbringing to me, yes. Would i date someone from a different race than me, yes. all of those things have an impact on your values and beliefs, and i would happily date someone with different yes.
@@chefboycc5448 you should be able to mould and adapt in every relationship in life, learn as in what the word is defined as, educating yourself on others views and not just saying, my word is right and you are wrong.
@@sixteencandles6 yeah what she said about religion was a contradiction, to what she said before. She clearly has no direction for what she actually wants, she just knows the man should provide financially and she should be loved and respected just for being herself and bringing nothing to the relationship..
