I've been drawing off and on for a few years now recently thought id try up my skills and found your channel, i really love what you teach, and your creatures a brilliant, you have helped me a lot, thank you for prividing great content and really useful tips.
by far favourite vid find stuff about portfolio very intersesting with your viewpoint and tone. Still like all your vids though hope you have a good new year
Very inspirational and I took a lot away from this video. I am currently working to get a portfolio that I want to submit to places. It is going to be a tough year I feel, but I'm hoping to have projects finished before June.
Dude I loved every minute. Im a community college student trying to transfer colleges after this semester’s and its been a nightmare scrambling what I think “is good” but then watching this video really helped me a lot. Even though I do want to comic books and graphic novels I’m not sure it’s what the art schools I’m applying to are looking for.
blunt truth is what too many artists who want to become a professionals need to hear. many art school graduates, or aspiring pros, just do the motions in their degree, pass their classes and put together a medium effort portfolio and knowingly cut corners with it and thinks thats enough. they just dont realize how motivated and passionate artists who actually get hired in the entertainment world are and if you don't love it you're going to burn out before your skill is even close to where its gotta be
This may be a strange question, but I'm curious. Do you see yourself doing a video of a full/large scale drawing, With minimal time lapse? Similar to your video with the "Ludahr", just longer. I understand that, that kind of video would take a long time. And it would have a specific type of people watching (people with actual attention spans) but I think that kind of video would be great for visual learners like myself. Not a request (because I know that, that kind of video could take forever) Just a question. P.S. Sorry for the long comment.

Thank you for these videos where you discuss topics. I try to keep learning while at work, and having a topic/concept discussion is easy to listen to.
I'm glad you can learn while you work!
@bobbyrebholz2183 I see you have a mentorship program. I emailed you about it :)

Your tips have helped me a lot to find a method and style that I like. Greetings from Mexico (Google Translator)
Can you do more industrial designs, like a mech? I always wanted to draw mechs, and they do not look nothing like a robot
I have a question? When you make a concept monster how much do you price it??Just curious.
