He intentionally talks like that cause nothing is interesting nor surprising to him cause of how powerful he is. He climbed the ranks pretty fast cause of his fruit and was easy going life cause of his powers. Thats what I absolutely love about him, his "wow I'm so surprised" expression and personality. Like when marco hit kizaru mid air and he acted like it was powerful and acted like it hurt him and intentionally fell down with light speed causing a unnecessary explosion. What a jokester.

The Sabaody arc really enforces the idea the the Worst Generation are truly JUST rookies. Oda did such a good job establishing that Paradise and the New World are on completely different levels

@@TheliMagnus like moria being a shadow of his former self after getting beaten by kaido or lucci being a leopard that can camouflage, just like he camouflages himself like a normal person while being a cp9 agent. Or katakuris fruit being better than luffys, so he has a bounty that ends with 57 million which is greater than 56, that can also be read as gomu in Japanese. Plus in their fight luffy is always getting bsck up, just like rubber would return to it's original state, while katakuri was the opposite. Oda is a genius with his character design for real.

I still don't understand why a technique and a transformation has to be seperate when there are techniques that transform you like Gear 4th and Xianxia MCs who literally uses techniques that transforms them into Dragons or Demons.
And I called Gear 4th a technique cuz Luffy learned through his training in Ruskaina.

Luffy is applying various things that he mastered at once, therefore he used a technique that transformed his body.
When Goku went Super Saiyan the first time, he didn’t apply any technique or known strategy in order to get that form. It’s just a side effect of him being angry.
That’s a transformation that isn’t a technique. Later on when they changed the requirements of what is SS is and how to achieve it, you could call it a technique. But the way it happened originally is what makes it not a technique and just a transformation.
(This is hard to explain tbh because a lot of transformations end up becoming techniques in the end.) but they don’t always start out as such. I think the difference in One Piece is that they are techniques from the start because Luffy is always in control of using these powers in that way.

I think Vegapunks invention with devil fruits and replicating them can only go so far than the original fruit because i don’t think he can incorporate all the capabilities of the pica pica fruit aka light fruit into kuma.Kuma can’t move at the speed of light or turn his body into light or use all of the attacks that kizaru has.

Kizaru was my favorite Admiral ever since I saw him show up and wreck four Supernovas in the manga. All of the Admirals are pretty good characters, but Kizaru is just the coolest of them imo. And he has the best drip!
Aokiji, Akainu, and Fujitora are all badass and really awesome in their own ways too (second favorite is probably Kuzan, but Fujitora is pretty dope, but that isn't relevant for a while still... Akainu is the best as a villain of the group though, definitely. Still curious about Ryokugyu though), but Kizaru's powers and style are just top tier stuff and he seems to be a middle ground of sorts when it comes to how he views "justice" between the more brutal and oppressive kind some of the Marines/World Government espouse and the more relaxed and fair kind that people like Smoker and Aokiji display.
That was a really nice idea, Kuma with other people's devil fruit power.

The thing about this arc is that Kizaru could literally kill or capture anyone, just the fact that he put them off combat, the marines could simple capture the pirates, but the plot armor saved them, even Luffy and his crew. The guy was just chilling around while doing his job, and they were lucky that was Kizaru, because if it was Akainu, he would kill everyone and would be the ending of One Piece right here.

I just don’t get how is that considered as “plot armor” Oda could’ve easily never let Luffy punch a celestial dragon to let Kizaru arrive if he wasn’t planning on making it possible for them to leave and that punch literally changed the outcome of the next 600 episodes for the story’s favor. So it wasn’t an ass pull in my opinion
